He found that the nuts holding the rear axle were loose. Ian got the correct tools and fixed the problem within minutes. I brought it in this morning, and within 60 SECONDS had identified the problem (caused by a dodgy fix of my clutch during a previous service from a DIFFERENT garage.) He had the issue fixed in under 5 minutes and then told me I could just 'buy him a drink sometime!!!!!!!' as it was an easy fix. Personally I will be ONLY using Goodmans from now on and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone, they are brilliant. I located them via the web without a recommendation, which can always be a bit dicey. They are conveniently located directly outside the Canons Park Underground Station so that you can leave your car and use public transport. I had a fuel line repaired and new rears brakes, discs and calipers installed. Though with any auto repair it is never cheap I felt they were fair and honest with me. They did not try to overservice my car either, as it is now 14 years old. Finally, when I go home I realized the repair on the fuel line had not quite worked. While I was disappointed at the results, they responded without hassle when I took it back the next day. They fixed their mistake and it has worked properly since.

I needed some bodywork repairs and was initially recommended to another repairer, who quoted a total cost of £1,100 and said that I would need to leave the car for five days. I approached Canons Park Motors, which told me that some of the work I had been quoted for was unnecessary and the job could be done in three days for £568. The staff could not have been more helpful and when I arrived to collect the car it looked good as new and was being given a free wash & vac. When I asked about charges for a full service and MOT, I was told it would probably cost no more than £270, including all materials and tax very different from the alleged £400 claimed by mhenry2010.
