The security team was quick and polite, and as for the consular staff upstairs, we got the documents we needed in about 30 minutes on a Friday, which was far faster than I expected. On the downside, minus one star for never answering the phone with a live agent and for an infuriatingly confusing automated phone dialog. I realize the consulate staff gets busy, but they're only open to the public for like 3 hours a day. Answering some phone calls would be a big help to people who are coming into town and need to make sure they have all of their paperwork in order and are following the correct procedures.

Rest assure…read morethey're expensive not only that I needed a LOI-Letter of Invitation or Visa Support from a Travel Agency in Uzbekistan which was $70.00 USD plus $240.00 for the expedited visa service. The Consul General actually called my office of Employment to verify that I worked there was'nt in the office that day.. Later that evening the Consul General called me on my mobile.. He had a couple of questions about my trip to Uzbekistan,was very nice, very polite to me on the phone.He went on to tell me he was going to grant the visa.In returned thanked him for getting in touch then remarked that I was looking forward to the trip. The applications must be typed in which you go into the website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tashkent Uzbekistan answer all questions then print it out send in with LOI Letter of Invitation then you'll be on your way. The visa is 30 days on Tourist Visas which are date set from day of proposed entry the same with Private visas. Overall went smooth.
