Last night I attended a $ 75 event at SOPAC with some friends. I anticipated a delicious sit down dinner, as promised. However, this turned out to be by far the worst dinner I've ever had. There was no bread at the table, so I requested some. I was told that they were out of bread. A few minutes later, one of the servers came over holding a basket of bread, saying that she had "borrowed" it from another table. She offered me one. It was stale. The small salad consisted of more croutons than lettuce. I hate croutons...(maybe that's where the rest of the stale bread was). There was NO water on the tables, and when I inquired about this I was told that we would have to buy water at the bar. Ok, by now I'm hoping that the food served at 9:30 would be better. To my chagrin, it was inedible. It consisted if a small piece of dried chicken breast, burnt potatoes, hard, dried, undercooked rice, and almost raw green beans. I did not eat any of this, neither did the rest of the people at my table. To add insult to injury, the plates and cutlery were all PLASTIC and the food was COLD.
