We used J. Bathe Electric to address electrical issues for a home inspection connected to the sale of our home. This means we're were on a time frame. We worked with Dan Mayberry, service Manager, who was awesome. He came to our house to assess the situation within days and had someone out to do the work within that next week. We needed an old attic fan repaired and Dan worked hard to find a motor to fit our fan rather than just say we needed a new fan (which is what the previous proposal we sought from another company said was our only option). Dan was very thorough in his assessment of needs and presented a very clear, upfront proposal. I felt like Dan made us his top priority! We bought a chandelier a couple of months ago to replace a ceiling fan over dining room room table. Having replaced approximately 100 fixtures in my lifetime I felt comfortable make this change however when I removed fan I observed a wiring configuration unfamiliar to me. Not wanting to chance improper wiring I capped off what didn't look right and called a Professional. Dan returned the call and we made arrangements to have the situation corrected. The young man, Sean showed promptly at the time specified. After describing in detail the situation as I understood it he began tracing wires and discovered an additional problem that had been part of the issue that I hadn't even considered. I called J Bathe recently to install a 220V outlet in my garage for a Telsa. This required a new breakout electric panel next to the existing one in my basement. This was the second time they have come out, and once again they were terrific. The first time, my electric was out for part of the house after a storm: I called them at 7:00 am and they were at my house before 8:00 am. They made two trips that day. They got most things fixed that morning, but had to pick up a thermostat and install it later in the day. Today, they came back out and did so much work in 3 hours. They replaced a switch, 3 light fixtures, 6 wired smoke alarms, fixed the wiring on an outside light, ran the wiring and installed a light on the steps to the basement. I used J Bathe Electric to get my Tesla Wall Connector Install. Right from quote to inspection, they handled the process very well. After Receiving my initial quote to draw a 60amp dedicated line for my Tesla, I asked what if I want to add another Tesla in future . They came up with plan to add new sub panel in my garage with 100amp dedicated line and the drew Tesla wall connector from sub panel for a small add on amount. We had hard wired smoke detectors that had reached the end of their life and were chirping non stop. Bought a house here a few months back and discovered my dryer plug will not work with the current outlet. The language of electricity is a mystery to me so I called J Bathe to get a quote for a remedy. This is it. These guys are professionals. I upgraded from a 100 amp to a 200 amp panel so I would be up to code. Additionally, they also added individual outlets for my garage door openers, which was also for code. These guys did a great job and they were priced below the competition. Needed a Tesla Wall Connector installed. Called J Bathe based on dealer and neighbor recommendations. Had planned on getting 3 bids. But J Bathe was able to provide an estimate, answer any questions I had and actually install it before the other 2 companies could even get out to provide the estimate. A little disclaimer- I didnt use their service but had a little interaction through Yelp when I needed some help with a circuit breaker. Owner tried to help me reset the circuit breaker and explain over the chat before I even hired them. He eventually mentioned that we would need a service call. But we didnt need a service call with J bathe as I realized i could get the main panel fixed through the original company that installed it last year.
