Wow. That's all I can say. We own a rental unit and just realized the storms last weekend caused some issues on a circuit. We do a lot on our own but could not figure it out! We have tenants moving in this week and were freaking out about getting someone out in time to fix it. I out a feeler out on Yelp and Steven responded in no time at all. He didn't have any reviews and although has a website, doesn't have much online presence, so I hesitated. But I did more research and we decided to go for it. I sent a message at 3pm and he was out by 5:15. He was super professional and personable. I met him alone before my husband could get there and didn't feel unsafe at all. He came in, and did everything in an hour. He explained his step by step process and was so informative too. Being in rentals, I'll admit we haven't found an electrician we've felt loyal too....but Steven might be it. He's quick, offers weekend fixes, fantastic rates, and overall a great experience. Great service from JSE Service and Electric. They installed a new electric service and moved the weather head from below the roof to above the roof. They took care of getting the building permit and contacting Ameren to get the electric turned off and back on. They also made sure their work was inspected by the city and would pass the occupancy permit rules. Plan to have them to do more electric work later. read more

Over the years, as a homeowner, I have "collected" quite a number of service professionals. When I find a good one I like to share so I'm sharing JSE and Steven Manning with y'all. He is responsive, efficient, highly professional and knows exactly what he's doing. My husband put out a request for a bid for some fairly minor electrical work. Our home is in west St. Louis County so don't let his Belleville location worry you. Mr. Manning responded promptly, gave us a reasonable bid and once we asked him to do the work, he showed up the next day and got everything done in about an hour. Steven was fantastic. The best price for fantastic work - I love my new recessed kitchen lights and the chandelier in my bathroom is just the kind of "extra" I was looking for! He got me scheduled quickly, was flexible when I needed to reschedule, and was very patient with me while I figured out exactly where the six recessed lights were going to go.
