I purchased a fair condition high mileage American SUV from this dealership over two years ago on a…read morebuy-here-pay-here loan process. The loan was ten months long at $300 a month payments, split biweekly as were my pay periods. I had the lovely gift of family and my own dually noted financial efforts to help obtain the vehicle, maintain it, and make it to the finish line paying it off. After myself making exactly ten months of payments my loan was paid off as agreed. A title was mailed to me VERY promptly thereafter. I had one encounter during my loan where I was unable to pay. Not only did the dealership lend a deferral for 14 days and when I doubled up on my payment the next pay to square up they made sure I would not be strapped first before taking the money. YES, during my loan my vehicle broke down several times and it did take a couple tries before we could pinpoint some electrical issues with the vehicle (which have since been resolved) and it was annoying... but the vehicle is still running 248,000 miles later... I bought it with 200K hence the high-mileage intro earlier. Customer 1 Auto also offers a mechanic bay with newly staffed mechanics that know their stuff... This is the first vehicle I could say I actually had last long enough to have renewed the registration on, as an owner, twice. There are a lot of swindler car dealers looking to make a good deal fast to get their commission up, and then there's Customer 1 Auto. This is a local family ran business that's been there for many years with the same management. They have good intent to have good vehicles and good people working to make money selling cars and help people get into them. Best thing is to get your carfax so you know what you are getting, do your research and don't overspend. If they take the car back because you can't pay that's not their fault. MANY times people will say "this dirtb@g car dealership is a rip off" AND/OR "that car sucked anyway" but then they forgot to say how great the car was while they were driving it and not paying though.... Do your research online, pick your car, call for info, and see what they got to offer you.

MotorWorld Honda... let me first start with my last lease was through them. In the last 4 months…read moreof my lease EVERY SINGLE SALES PERSON was calling me, almost every day! I had to block their numbers because I would be interrupted at work if I hadn't. Fast forward, I bring the lease back and buy a Passport Trailsport SUV - I should have listened to my gut, and I didn't. I bought the car, and literally, the seat heaters and heat were not working properly. I had freaking ICE on the inside of my car. Of course, the salesperson I dealt with is just like all the others in that building - not giving two shits once I bought it. Best part, I call her 1-2 days after buying it and tell her what is going on and she tells me to call service. Now, this is the same service department that told me for MONTHS that the parts for my recall on my last Honda was not in so they couldn't fix it. They told me that for months, so I decided to call Phillipsburg Easton Honda in Jersey, and they fit me into their schedule and did the recall within a week or so of calling them. I call MWH Service, you know how cold of a winter we have had?? BRAND NEW vehicle, and they tell me they can't even look at it till March! And I would have to leave it there, and come back and pick it up... I live an hour away! How do they know if they haven't even looked at it yet? NEVER AGAIN will I deal with these a-holes! Moral of the story... always go with your gut. They only care about you buying, and their customer service and service department are PATHETIC!

I wanted to pay with a card but was informed i could not and that I could return the next day to purchase with a certified check. I was assured that they would put the car to the side and reserve it for me. The next day I retrieved two cashiers checks for the $22,000 to purchase the car. I called to let them know I would be by with the checks. They informed me my salesperson would not be in until noon and could not see me until my appointment at 2:00pm. This would have been fine if I didn't find out at my appointment that they sold the car out from under me and did not reserve as promised. They did so the same night they told me they would reserve the car, knowing I would be getting the checks. They did not inform me of this when I called to inquire about paying. I called and offered to bring the checks earlier in the day. They offered me another car instead, one which had 8,000 more miles on it than the one we picked out. They refused to answer my questions about it or send pictures. I can no longer give them my business in good conscience after this. I am now stuck with the cashier checks and the money I had to purchase the car will be tied up for multiple days until I can have them reversed. Do not waste your time and energy with this dealership
