I love you Decathlon!…read more Decathlon makes me sporty. OK - so I am (was) anything but sporty. But living next to Decathlon has forced me to become a (half) Marathon runner and a regular hiker. Decathlon does a great job of selling. Products are among the most competitively priced and the quality is not too compromised on either. For some reason, I always thought otherwise. Maybe because it's French? They never run out of stock for some reason. Good inventory management. The staff is very friendly. I have almost never had trouble finding what I need. They've always gone that extra mile to make sure I get what I'm looking for. Really glad to have Decathlon for a neighbor.

It's probably the 'first shop since Greenwich Meantime was invented (?) so more like the first shop since time began'... doesn't really have the same ring to it does it? It also wouldn't fit on the sign so forgive them for their misleading tagline, it's turned them into a well deserved tourist spot. If there was a joke that went along the lines of 'how many tourists can you fit in to a novelty shop in Greenwich' the answer would be here on a Saturday. It's packed with them Everywhere. They jump out of corners at you. But I can understand why. Go to Greenwich, buy a compass. I never have, but if someone gave me a compass I'd be really pleased. I think they're romantic. Which makes me sound wierd. They actually don't sell tat in here. It's got some great stuff. Barometers and things like that. Of course, just the kind of stuff you need in your modern flat. It's not going to be everyones idea of a cool shop, but it's a great part of Greenwich and it's worth going in just for that. Bet you come out with a little toy boat.

When I walked inside, a worker approach me and asked if I needed any help. I told her I was just browsing first and she let me shop. The store isn't that big inside but they have a lot of products. I saw a nice shirt for my wife meant for working out so I got that for her. I saw some cute infant clothing so I got that for my daughter. I looked at the attire for mens but nothing grab my attention. The prices were reasonable especially since some items were on sale. The checkout process was easy and the guy behind the counter was great. We had small chat since he knew I was a tourist.

This store might not be as large as other Adidas stores but it still has a decent range of products for the size of the store in a pretty decent and modern feel to it - unlike Nike next store who honestly have used the hideous "running" store concept here, Adidas seems to be more generic, selling football jerseys from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United (Booooo!) who they have contracts to supply the team's official clothing ranges, considering they spend a lot of money on this, these are products you'd expect to find in every store but surprisingly this isn't something Nike does. They did have a decent range of everything else, as with these retailers they didn't seem to stock many discounted products compared to generic retailers such as JD and Sports Direct - which is a shame considering the close proximity to the Outlet mall which is located so close, this store could even be a part of it. Staff again lacking but I found this to be typical for the area and many establishments in London which is a shame. 3* - One of the better stores within this O2 Arena complex but still could be greatly improved upon.

It has got an old school- hypster- vintage look and vibe and is also a bikers shop dedicated to the two wheels lovers: bykes and all the accessories are available here. The bagels are great, soft and tasty: I had a salmon one, very good, with cream cheese; great value for something as cheap as 4 and something pounds. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Located on Deptford high street, is a must go place in the hood. #love#it##

Specialty coffee/bike shop in Deptford. I enjoyed my hummus, avocado, and sun-dried tomato bagel sandwich with a latte. The bagel itself was on the smaller side but I was full for a couple of hours afterwards. If you're sensitive to caffeine, get decaf or ask for one shot of espresso only in your drink. I enjoyed my latte, which had just the right amount of milk that I could taste and appreciate the coffee blend itself paired with it. A highlight for me was getting to interact with their cute and sweet dog!

I visited this store right when they open to see what I could get for my wife. A worker greeted me the moment I walked inside and told me about their current sales. I looked at some of the women athletic clothing but it was too pricey. I looked at some of the attire for men too but nothing geahbmy attention. The shoes are toward the left side of the store. They have a lot of shoes at this store. The store is a decent size inside and the customer service I thought was great when I was here.

Both stores might be from similar, rival brands who share the dominance like Coke and Pepsi, but unlike Coke and Pepsi, these stores differ hugely. To be fair to the store in question - I will only talk about Nike here. This Nike store is described online as a Factory store, while it might lack in size to their huge flagship location, Nike Town on Oxford Street but the store is in a pretty handy location if you're hoping to kill some-time before attending the O2. The store is mainly a "running store" with a selection of running gear such as T-Shirts and trainers - there wasn't really much to appeal to the other markets of typical Nike fashion and sports-wear, I was surprised not to see a presence of any football jerseys here especially considering two London clubs (Spurs, Chelsea) do have Nike jerseys - as a Manchester City fan we did have Nike for the past couple of seasons but Puma has been a significant improvement on that front - but that shouldn't affect overall opinion on this store. Perhaps designed a little too much like a running store and in its' location it could have done more to be an Outlet store selling more Nike fashion, even older jerseys at reduced rates which the big sports-retailers normally do from the end of one season to the start of another and until they run out, after all, it is the Icon Outlet. 2* - Bright store with a decent feel to it, looks good in its location but that's sadly where it ends.

It's quite a small shop (the one on the strans is better) but have a decenet selection of trainers, running bottoms/ tops, nutrition/ energy bars. I don't feel that the staff are overly-knowledgeable about the products so i would advise you head in knowing what you want.
