I learned that shit doesn't fly in MN - the people at the grocery store looked at me like I'd asked to buy one of their children when I asked if they had a liquor department. Spoiler: they don't - you have to go to a "bottle shop" so I did. The selection was surprisingly good on the wine front. Sure, there's Franzia and Chateau-le-Shit if you want it but there was a plenty good selection of very nice bottles in the $10-20 range. If you're a baller, they even stock VCP champagne. Of course, there's plenty of beer by the 6 pack or case and again, plenty good selections too. (Including a brand called Good Ass Beer) I was happily surprised at the prices - they are about the same as my wine shop at home. If you're headed to points north and need a stock up, or you don't want to pay inflated casino prices (or suffer their terrible wine choices) this is a worthwhile stop.
