Our youngest just entered kindergarten after two wonderful years in the preschool program. The curriculum is more advanced than our experience at CMS, and our kids are encouraged to challenge themselves while being fully supported. They actually enjoy going to school, which says a lot. When our son needed help with reading, he received in-school and after-school tutoring at no cost. Teachers are communicative, with weekly check-ins and extra updates. Every teacher we've had has gone above and beyond. The admin team is engaged and present at drop off and pick up daily. BCCA goes beyond academics with events that build confidence, character, and community. We're so grateful to be part of this diverse, supportive school. Highly recommend.

I am deeply disappointed in the staff and operations at LNC. The students are given hours upon…read morehours of homework each night and are graded harshly, even with 504 accommodations. If I could rate less than one star I would. respect is promised but not delivered and under no circumstances have I ever seen a student be truly happy at the establishment. Students are almost unanimous about their disgust for the teacher "Mrs.Balogh". Firing her would be a large step forward in correcting the total mess that is Lake Norman Charter School.

MF THEY ARE SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO ME the teachers did nothing to solve this, the one spesific teacher was ms elliot man she can go to hell i hate her they cancelled field trips because we "misbehaved" too much and blamed the entire grade on it. i remember getting in trouble with the principal and admins because i was NEAR someone who said some slurs or something. i never even heard them say anything and yet they pulled me out of class for it??? if your gonna bring your kid here from any other CMS school, just dont. its also very overcrowded, and almost nobody cares about their job there. also its next to hough which has a bomb threat like every week so yeah fuck cms and fuck you guys
