Neighbor asked if he could trim branches off my tree. I gave the ok. I realize they tried limbs. Hugh limbs that shook my house when they hit the ground. They never knocked in my door and started removing the high limbs. What they left my tree looking like is to be noted in a comic book. They hauled away limbs without permission. OUTSTANDING Service. It was sadly time to take down my beautiful black walnut tree which grew huge and too close to the house. I called 3 services and so lucky Phil from J M was my 3rd find because this was the best choice. He came out the same day I called, super nice, professional, and kind. His quote was HALF the price of one other service, one THIRD the price of the other, and since I'm on furlough, this was such a help. He fit the work in within a week, working timely around other home repairs. His friendly crew showed up right on time, with all the right equipment, safety first. It was amazing; in 4 hours, they safely took down a gigantic tree that was at least 30 years old, that would have crushed my roof if a branch fell in a storm. They used great safety precautions & equipment, working in a ridiculously tight space to accomplish the work. They even cut up some of the wood for my fireplace, stacked it neatly, cleaned everything up, blew off the roof & gutters, and recycled their beverage bottles and cans as I asked. I contacted Phil for an estimate on past Saturday and he was out the same day. Today, Wednesday the job is done! I had 4 trees removed and stumps grinder, 3 other trees groomed perfectly. They had a full line of equipment including shredder, stump grinder, and manual cutters. The yard was cleaner then when they arrived. We used J.M. Tree Service late last year and they did an excellent job for a great price. We contacted them when we realized that our 30 plus foot high Mulberry tree was leaning further toward our garage every day. Fil, the owner of J.M Tree Service, decided to perform the removal a day earlier than initially scheduled. He was concerned that, given the significant leaning angle of the tree, the impending rain storm might cause the tree to fall on our garage before he could safely remove it. So nice to find a company that is proactive on your behalf. Came out and trimmed our huge Locust Tree. Reasonable price. They came out to quote when I was not around, so we were texting pictures of the scope of work. They gave a good price with removal. They arrived to do job and upon completion cleaned up like they weren't even there! Then I screwed up and came out to pay and seen a part of the tree still there that I wanted down. They were pretty cool about the misunderstanding and I felt we agreed on an additional amount more to have it removed. I realized the miscommunication. Like I said they were cool about it. Had to re set up to trim the last part that was now harder to get to because of what they just removed. Then upon completion, still cleaned up like they weren't there and replaced my yard signs back into the yard better that I had them in originally. These guys are super professional. We had to remove our maple tree which we were estimating to be over 100 ft high with 4 trunks. Phil came out the day we called and gave us a very reasonable estimate! We called to hire him the next day. Due to storms in the area he was booked solid. Since we needed it removed quickly after branches had fallen and caused damage twice. Phil called and stated he would be able to do the job in two days. He stopped by the next night to drop off insurance and explained to us that due to his schedule he would not have enough crew to come out but has another 5 star rated company that will be at the house the next day. He dropped off the insurance for the other company. Since he was the 5th call we had made and the 3rd estimate, one being double and 2 being triple his estimate we truly appreciated his professionalism in scheduling the other company to keep his appointment!!
