This company provided an appraisal of $68,370 to complete the siding, fascia, and gutters on my…read morehome. The company informed me that in order to install vertical siding, they would need to install nailers. I questioned the necessity of the nailers because my home already had T1-11 wood siding, which I believed could serve as the nailer. The company informed me that they could not use the existing wood siding and they further explained that installing nailers would require packing out the windows to account for the additional thickness. Based on this explanation of the additional work required, I agreed to move forward with the project at a cost of $68,370. However, when the project was completed, they did not install nailers and instead used my existing wood siding. Despite not performing the additional work that was the basis for the price, they are still requiring me to pay the full $68,370. I only agreed to the cost based on the additional work they claimed was necessary. Since that work was not performed, I believe the total price should be adjusted accordingly. When they quoted me for the gutters, I informed them that I just had the gutters replaced 5 years ago and had oversized gutters installed. They stated that they would replace the gutters with the exact same size just in the color to match my new siding. However, they installed smaller gutter and their gutter system does not function properly, like the ones they replaced did. When it rains, water flows over the guards instead of through the gutter system which causes the water to drain directly into my yard. This has resulted the water to enter my basement. In addition, the fascia they installed is visibly wavy and warped. The workmanship is poor, and the finished product is unacceptable. The fascia significantly takes away from the appearance and quality of my home. I was able to speak to the salesperson that I initially worked with. He mentioned that our initial meeting -- when he provided the quote -- was recorded. He stated that he reviewed the recording to determine whether nailers or oversized gutters were discussed. He claims that there was no mention of nailers or oversized gutters in that conversation. However, I clearly recall discussing the use of my existing T1-11 siding as a potential nailer and informing him that my home has oversized gutters. I was never made aware that the meeting was being recorded. If the conversation was in fact recorded, I believe I should have access to that recording. Despite my request, the company has refused to provide a copy. The customer service I have experienced with this company has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. In order to reach the salesperson who originally quoted my project, I have to contact the superintendent who handled the job and ask him to relay a message. There is no direct line of communication. I am also unable to reply directly to the emails they send, which further limits communication. Each time the salesperson contacts me, he calls my landline despite my repeated requests that he contact me on my cell phone. If I am not home, I cannot return his call because he does not provide a direct phone number. As a result, I am forced to contact the superintendent again and repeat the process. Despite multiple requests, he has yet to call me on my cell phone as instructed and there has been no resolution to my concerns

Do not use PJ Fitzpatrick for your home remodeling project. This has been an absolute nightmare,…read moreand I would not want another homeowner to go through what my husband and I are dealing with right now. On May 20th, we hired them for a simple shower remodel. At first, everything looked fine and we believed the work had been done properly. Unfortunately, we later discovered the installer had damaged the drain during installation. Because we did not use the shower for more than 24 hours, there were no immediate signs of a problem. We began using the shower on May 22nd through May 26th. Then on May 26th, my husband noticed a large bubble forming in our den ceiling along with water dripping from it. He immediately contacted the company to report the issue. A technician came out to inspect the damage and confirmed the leak was coming from the newly installed shower drain. As the photos show, our ceiling had to be torn open because of the damage caused during the installation. Today is May 28th, and we are still dealing with the aftermath. We were told technicians would come today to repair the drywall and ceiling. I even received an email confirming the appointment, but no arrival time was provided. By 12:03 p.m., no one had shown up, and I had to contact the supervisor myself for an update. After damaging our home, why should I have to chase someone down for answers? The supervisor told me they should arrive around 12 p.m., which clearly did not happen. I then received another call saying the technician was running behind and would "maybe" arrive between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. At this point, I am simply warning other homeowners. Save yourself the stress, time, money, and frustration. Please consider using another company.

They had previously done a smaller job and left damage to the lawn (which we made them repair) and a mess upon completion. The customer service experience has been utterly appalling this time. The following list explains it. 1. Human excrement on the property. A workman defecated on the property. As a tissue did not suffice for cleaning himself, he used his own t-shirt to finish the job and left the entire mess, apparently assuming that we would clean it up. The company president was to come and inspect the situation but never appeared. P & C Roofing did not provide a port-a-potty for its workers. We would have certainly permitted him to use our bathroom, but he did not ask. Surely, employers have to provide appropriate bathroom facilities? Resolution: After 2 days a worker cleaned up the mess. The company president never appeared to inspect. There was no apology or explanation. 2. Severed Verizon line. Workers cut our Verizon Fios (phone and Internet) line when they ran their lift machine into it. They did not have the courtesy to tell us or apologize or explain. We only knew because the Internet stopped working and we had to go and check. They are extremely lucky not to have hit the live power lines. Resolution: 48 hours until Verizon could repair it. Inconvenience, stress, and lost work productivity for residents because of it. Workers never apologized. 3. Broken wooden plank on rear deck step. Again, no notification, explanation, or apology. Resolution: Workers installed a raw plank for us to finish and paint. 4. Broken fence slat. Again, no notification, explanation, or apology. Resolution: slat replaced, but in doing so the workers shifted the upright support to such an angle that the other slats are only barely wide enough and keep falling out. 5. Lack of communication; presumption. Workers presumed to store their equipment in a garage bay without asking. While my car technically fit, it was not possible to open the doors because of their piled gear. Had they asked instead of presumed, I would have gladly shown them a space in which to keep their equipment safe and dry. Resolution: I had to move it all to a space in a garden shed. 6. Litter. They left their lunch litter on the driveway. Just a small amount, but it's the principle. Resolution: They picked it up only when asked to. 7. Mess. The property around the house is littered with tiny bits of roof detritus. Workers did use a magnetic device to collect errant nails. I do not yet know the quality of the work, but the customer experience was extraordinarily bad.

The first time it rained after they allegedly fixed it water came in in multiple places. Spoke with the GM Andrew Minear and he had the audacity to say they would come back out and charge me more to fix what they already charged me to fix the same problem. I will NEVER use them again. I do not trust them to do a good job and honor their work. See BBB and google reviews on this company. The worked requested and contracted for was the exact same area that continued to leak. It speaks volumes when a business does not honor its work. It represents very low integrity and a lack of pride in the workmanship. Of course it is convenient but not accurate to send a self interested party (its an employee)out to say what you want them to say, but the reality is the work was shoddy and did not solve the existing problem. I will never use your company again. Buyer BEWARE.
