Starting in December of 2020, because the state of the world was not changing as quickly as we had hoped, I began working with our vendors to cancel our wedding plans, and either refund our deposits or credit our account for future use of their services. All 9 vendors that we had booked have since been figured out and settled, except for Shane, almost 3 and half months after I began emailing and messaging him. I understand times are tough for everyone right now, especially for people like Shane, working as a front-line worker as his day job, who also has a small business on the side trying to get by during a pandemic. But after three and a half months now, I have been unable to get a solid answer out of Shane, and as someone working in the wedding industry, he should understand that communication, transparency and mutual respect between vendors and clients, are extremely important. I emailed Shane many times starting in the beginning of December, after not hearing back from him for six weeks, I reached out to him through Facebook. He responded and told me for some reason my emails were not going through to him and were being archived for some reason. We went back and forth a few times on Facebook, with just regular chatting, but once I got to the topic of what he can do for us regarding returning our deposit, he stopped responding to me. I have since messaged Shane multiple times, and I can see he did open and view my messages, but he has yet to respond. I'm really bummed that our professional relationship turned out this way, because I was excited to work with him based off his positive reviews. I unfortunately am forced to leave this review because other couples who want to work with him in the future need to know this is how he can handle communication with clients who have already paid him, and to me that is not acceptable. Like I said, I worked with many other vendors through this process and all responded to my communications in a professional and timely manner. After signing a contract to work with Shane, and paying him a deposit for his services, he doesn't find it appropriate and warranted to answer my messages that I can see he is viewing, which is simply wrong.

He reached out to us prior to the wedding to review and finalize the plans and was always quick to respond if we had any questions. Shane was the hit of our wedding. Our guests LOVED him and the energy he brought to the reception. He played a great mix of music that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. He also incorporates fun games(if you choose) to the wedding, we played his "shoe game" that was fun for us, and very entertaining for everyone else. Good times!! Wedding planning is exhausting in ways I didn't expect, and I'd already dealt with enough unresponsive vendors and confusing contracts to make me want to elope. Falls Creek Farm was just... different. From the first tour, it felt organized and warm. They have put so much care into this property and it shows. The team is extremely responsive. They answer questions without making you feel like a burden. The property is 300 acres and absolutely stunning. It is so I'm gonna hack you picturesque. They are extremely flexible and give you the opportunity to bring your wedding to life and make sure it's exactly as you envision it. Our guests are still talking about it. If you're in the middle of planning and feeling the stress, go take a tour. It was the first time during the whole process that I actually felt excited instead of overwhelmed.

The footing inside the show indoor desperately needs to be redone. It has several high and low…read morespots and gets very hard after so many horses traveling on it without dragging. They also need to put a stop to allowing horses to be cross tied in the isle during busy shows. It's not only a massive fire hazard, but also created unnecessary blocks of foot traffic. It was so disappointing that every isle you turned down there was a horse blocking the isle. I'm surprised the fire department allows this! Additionally, the wash stalls seemed to plugged up with inches of water Thursday thru Sunday. The wash stalls were essentially useless leaving people to fight over other wash stalls.. and why do you have double wash stalls with only one hose?! My final recommendation would be to add a warmup ring next to the front outdoor show ring. It created a dangerous situation where people had tents and chairs set up in the same area horses where trying to warm up for their classes. People traffic and horse traffic in the same space is a guarantee liability issue. On a good note, the property is very well maintained and is a beautiful place to drive through. I appreciate the meticulous maintenance! Lastly, the outdoor lunge ring and warmup ring had excellent footing.
