Easy place to grab a bite on base, but there are better options such as Macaroni Grill or Chili's...even the food court. The food tastes like it came from a microwave. My friends and I ordered a variety of dishes from the wings (bone in and boneless - microwave - more breading than chicken), salads (overdressed, bad lettuce), burger (nothing to write home about). Positives are that it's a great place to get picked up...I mean if you're into that and they have trivia nights/game nights, etc. Negatives...listed above and really think you are cheating during trivia...even when you are just looking at pictures of cats on your phone. #awkward read more

J.R. Rocker's... where do we begin? I could talk about their service. I really could. I could start with their slow, sub-par service that at its best is painfully average. I could talk about their generally overpriced food, and I could even bring up a few arguments about their menu. Or, instead I'll let their review average speak for itself. Few people I know like this place outside of it being a campy place to get wings, when you've managed to convince yourself that the last time you went there months ago it "wasn't that bad". "Wasn't that bad", what a great reason to come to a restaurant. One of the few American-style places on Ramstein Air Base, I'd be hard pressed to find any American who finds nostalgia or excitement in this place. I'd feel embarrassed taking anyone outside the realm of American sports bars here. J.R. Rocker's embarrasses me. The seemingly irrelevant NFL jerseys tacked on the wall tell the story of a sports bar attitude, bought and hastily tacked on the wall for a profit, with little regard for making this establishment special for any of its patrons. Wanted to give this place 1 star BUT the food is still decent. It took me an hour to have my salad as a TO GO order. Bartenders have horrible service, if you want decent service from them I recommend going during a down time (not rush hour). I just feel like there's different places Germany has to offer and J.R rockers is not the place to settle for. read more

I've been waiting to eat here for the longest time. I went to the E Club on Mother's Day and saw that they were closed and moved to the golf course. We finally went there to try the breakfast. Our server was very fast and efficient. We got our drinks right away and she took our order promptly. I was so surprised the food came out in less than ten minutes! I got the chicken and waffles and my husband got the breakfast burrito and they were both good. I like that they are open from 0630 to 2200 and the serve breakfast all day. This is also a review for Rooneys in the KMCC. Overall you can do better. This place caters to American service members who aren't 100% comfortable coming out of their cultural shell. They have a decent burger but the service is slow. AVOID the American breakfast, ($11.95). If you are staying at Ramstein you most likely have DFAC privileges. The Air Force DFAC serves the same exact food with more options for about $3.95 a person in a much nicer atmosphere. read more

I come through Ramstein AFB quite often. I also have had made the unfortunate decision to eat at this place numerous times. The food is bar food. Nothing gourmet. Breakfast is standard american style. Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes, etc. Since the servers seem to be mostly dependents, service is slow at best. Numerous times I have been here and have gotten my drink order forgotten about. It's not very difficult to pour a glass of OJ. I've also had times where my order gets lost completely. Simple orders, yet extremely slow service. My spouse and I came here twice while I was visiting, and each time it took at least forty minutes from being seated to receving our order. For two people. An order of wings and a salad both times. Not was it very busy either time- the first visit had only a few people waiting on tables, but that doesn't excuse the utter lack of attentiveness from the staff. The food was subpar, the wings looked and tasted like the frozen ones you cook in the microwave. I wish I could say something positive, but there honestly isn't anything. The staff and the establishment in general has a lot of improving to do before we consider coming here again. You're better off going elsewhere for your meal. As I type this, a group that got here after us has received their order. This is the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. When I first moved here, this was a safe place because they spoke English and was on base. Now that I've evolved from this crap, I've never been happier. The beer on tap is horrible, no matter what kind I get it is flat and flavorless. Being in Germany, I thought for sure they could at least get decent beer. I always try something different for food when I go there. I've had the egg burrito, greasy as hell. I have had the baked potato where butter is considered a topping when you only get 3. It was grease, not butter dripping off of it. The wings are actually decent. I find them veryyyy overpriced, but what do I know, I don't eat wings, that's my husband's department. As for mixed drinks, they always are made with fillers, never any actual alcohol. I sat at the bar once to watch. I had a special of the month drink last week, and it contained pineapple juice, and I'm pretty sure that was it. It actually had pulp around the glass when I finished it. The waitresses/waiters are okay. They're pretty slow, and one actually rude. I had one completely run into me and knock my purse off, JUST so she could run to her bartender friend and gossip. I've had a few good ones though. Karaoke night is pretty fun. They should have some longer hours though. If it weren't for my husbands love of pounds of wings, I most certainly wouldn't go back. read more

Update: Checked this place out once again since they moved to the golf course. Still TERRIBLE. Worst service I have had in my entire life. Took nearly 30 mins for the waitress to bring our drinks. Another 20 mins for our food. Keep on mind the place was only about 30% full. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
