I interfaced with a few just briefly but I immediately noted a subtle mixture of humility and self-confidence. These ladies exude confidence and trust in one another like no one I've seen (I travel a lot for work). It's the sort of job you do when no one's looking. It's striving for quality--not because your customers, your boss or your peers will judge you if you don't, but because that's just the standard you hold yourself to. It's responsibility, initiative, and enthusiasm. No matter your salary or your educational background--it's what dictates whether or not you love your job or hate it. And I think it usually correlates almost exactly with whether or not you see yourself as an active agent of change in your career or a passive, powerless spectator. They've also got a drive-thru, with 2 windows, specifically for cigarettes, and the folks working the window are always super friendly. I've never had a bad interaction. The gas here is generally inexpensive too, not always the lowest, but often just a little cheaper than other nearby options. I believe there's a restaurant inside, but I mostly stick to the drive-thru for my smokes. Giving them four stars, not because of the service or the prices (which are great), but because smoking is a terrible, disgusting habit. Still, if you're going to do it, On-Auk-Mor is where you want to go.
