I've also brought in a handful of friends, thus creating new clientele for the store. I was in the shop moments ago looking for a new piece and was treated horribly. The guy with the longer dark hair, and facial hair acted completely annoyed to have to help me. I decided to wait a few days on my larger purchase but didn't want to leave empty handed so I bought a torch for $16 and paid cash. A minute later before I left the store I decided it was going to be too big of a flame for my rig. I asked if I could return it and get a smaller one and he told me no. HE RUDELY switched it out for a cheaper one without refunding the difference in price and aggressively tried to put the other away and dropped it on the floor. I didn't want to make a scene because there were other customers but when he said have a nice day as sarcastically and with the most hostile tone I calmly told him I'll be taking my business elsewhere and left the store. He might be one of the owners or just an employee, either way I would not want that guy representing my company. I hate leaving bad reviews but I went in there and was polite and was treated Terribly for no reason.

I have a situation that I have tried to rectify for almost a week now and to no avail. If my…read moreassumption is wrong, I will certainly stand corrected, revise my review updating it or remove it all together..but as far as I'm aware, I do believe that the employees have not been honest with me regarding this transaction issue it makes me very upset. On two occasions, both within the last week and a half, I came into Sky High to make a purchase and there there were problems. On both of these occasions it turns out that I had a couple of cents short of what I needed to get the items. the first time was 3 cents short and the second time it was 13 cents short. I move money over as I need it with my bank. and when I moved money I forgot that there was a transfer fee. this is why there wasn't enough. instead of saying insufficient funds it said that a partial payment was recognized. this is what made me three cents short for one and 13 cents short for the other. I saw this with my own eyes on the machine. I have done partial payments there before and it was never a problem. I even did one two weeks ago and it was not an issue but now all of a sudden it's a problem. both the female attendant and the new male attendant refused to take the couple pennies that I owed to complete the transaction they said that they were not paid for the amount taken from my card and they said it would drop off in a couple days. I waited a couple days and what do you know? it posted. I checked back with the employees and both of them said that it would drop off and to give it more time. I gave it more time and again it did not drop off. I went in again and talked to the employee that did one of those transactions and he said the manager would be in the next day. I checked in as told at 9:00 a.m. When I came in I was told "I don't know where the manager is but they were supposed to be here and they never came and I need them to do stuff so I guess they're not coming". Not very comforting. So I went home. I checked back the next day which was just 2 days ago. Another employee said that their manager did not come in this morning. I'm thinking to myself is there ever a manager here? I asked them what I should do and he said check back tomorrow. I said that I've been doing that for the last four times. I was met with, " I don't know what to tell you". I came back in again the next day to the store which was yesterday and yet another employee I have not seen before again does not know how to rectify the issue or who to call because again the manager was not there. This is five times now I've gone into the store. I said I need the phone number of a manager I'm not going to keep checking back and playing hide and seek with these managers. they gave me the phone number of a manager out of the University location. I called that location and spoke with an employee and went over the situation because they had asked what was going on that I needed to talk to a manager. they had said that the bookkeeping is different at each store so the manager there would not be able to help me and I guess they had a line of people and she put me on hold and after a few minutes I just hung up. for crying out loud it's not much money it's $10 and change and $2.13, totaling an amount of about $13 that is owed back to me from that store because when the car did not come through I did not get any items but they got my money. I absolutely love how easy it is for companies to take your money but it takes forever to get the money back. and it's more about the money. it's about the integrity of a company it's about the employees saying what's accurate and true and handling it issue rather than just picking things out of the sky and saying this is what I'm going to tell him. . I have gave more than enough opportunities to rectify the issue and I want to bet my bottom dollar on it then a manager has no idea about this situation because nothing was ever mentioned. one of those employees should have picked up the phone called the manager and handled it especially after the second time coming in. it's uncalled for that this is number six now I'm going to try that I have to resort to a review to get the attention of them because they don't want to show up when the employees say they're going to be there and I hate to word it like that but that is the truth because multiple employees said management is not showing up when they said they would be here. so tell me, do I have any other option to try and get a hold of somebody? It's not like the employees are going to give me the manager's home number. since going into the store is not working perhaps maybe a manager can reach out to me on here and we can pick a time to go over these transactions and rectify this.
