He field measured and knew immediately that he could make it work. We walked through the design, timeline and investment at our first meeting and signed our contract shortly after. Mike worked with the county for permits and The Villages architecture review board to ensure our project was approved by all before demolition and construction began. During the construction process Mike was very open to discussing the job's progress, next steps and accommodating any requests within scope or as an add-on service. All members of Mike's team worked diligently on their tasks and put in extended hours and weekends as needed to get the job done. Their overall focus on producing a quality product from start to finish was evident from day one of the project. He handled the permits, the ARC (for the villages) and he promised that he would be on the job overseeing his crew; he was. I interviewed many people for the job. Michael is the rare contractor who can draft the contract , prepare the engineering plans, answer all questions, and physically do the work. He is also bilingual so he can comminicate with anyone. He was there pouring concrete which is the most important part of the job. He made certain the slab was pitched to drain properly. He was hands on. If the slab is of poor quality , the entire project goes downhill from there. Michael was top notch. He was always responsive even in the middle of another job. He might be curt when answering while in the midst of pouring, but he always answers any day of the week. Many of my friends who used other contractors have had very bad expeiences with some aspect.
