Plus he charged me $200 over the budget. It's just sad really. I gave him one star and that was for the 3 kids because they were so sweet. He needs to learn how to bid a job and clean up after himself. SMH True story. I couldn't make this up if I tried.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I managed huge apartment communities for 30 years…read moreand been the project manager on millions of dollars in renovation and maintenance projects. Eddie is a great talker and tells you he can do everything and really lets you believe he can be trusted. I had a full rehab for my house including painting, new flooring, new vanities, all new light fixtures, basically total overhaul. The original bid was $23,900. I have pets so I specifically told Eddie I would be moving into an Airbnb so he could get the house done without having to work around me and I did not want my pets stressed by all the noise and activity. He agreed that the job would be done in 4 weeks. During this time, he decided to accept a bathroom remodel in my neighbors house at the same time. He only works from about 9am to 4pm with a lunch break. He was 2 weeks past the deadline and still was not finished!! He submitted receipts from the hardware store for me to pay that were parts he bought for my neighbors job! He has now charged me over $34,000 for my job that was supposed to cost $24,944. That is a 30% mark up!! The work site was an absolute disaster, they left my house in terrible shape. They sprayed my floors with glue remover and did not protect my furniture (he promised all furniture would be protected and covered) which has now eaten the stain off several pieces of my antique furniture. He took all my books and piled them on my mattress and did not cover my mattress so not only was it exposed to toxic chemicals from the glue remover he used, the mattress was filthy because he never covered it even though he promised he would. He did not wire my ceiling fans correctly so I had to pay an electrician to come and re-wire them. Ge burnt out 1 ceiling fan with his bad wiring and the electrician said it needs to be replaced. He also left screws loose on the bedroom fans so they would eventually fall from the ceiling. He stored all his tools in my garage and left such a mess, I tripped over his cords and hurt myself pretty badly. Even once I moved back in, everyday they would throw trash on the floors inside the house and then leave. Every night I would have to go around cleaning up all their trash. He bills you for items that are not complete and then expects payment even though items are not completed. I bought all the materials and because he was so disorganized, he lost several parts that I had to re- purchase. I have never seen such a messy, disorganized job site in my 30 years of property management where I worked with hundreds of contractors over the years. I could keep going, but I am sure you get the point t. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, WORST DECISION EVER! Total incompetent and can't complete job on time because they only work about 5 to 6 hours a day.

We discovered that Heath and his wonderful wife, Sarah, are both Realtors. They work as a great team so you get the benefit of two Realtors working for you. Sarah is wonderful at the deep dive process of researching homes to meet our VERY strict criteria. She is excellent at communication and, together, their availability to us was above and beyond. Sarah and Heath are willing to go to any lengths to help you find exactly what you are looking for. Our price point was very low for this competitive market so Sarah worked creatively outside the box to add possibilities to our prospects pool. Our criteria included specifics that most prospective home owners aren't concerned with (e.g unpermitted work on the home is one example of many) and Sarah and Heath were more than happy to learn how to research this for us. Neither of them ever tried to push us towards homes we couldn't afford. They focused on OUR goals and worked harder than they would have for a higher priced home and commission. Heath has an excellent eye for detail when touring a home. He is a skilled negotiator. We discovered later that, when we fell in love with our prospective new home, Heath impressed the sellers'realtor by fighting for us to be their buyer. It was this tenacity and level of support that made the difference and helped the seller to choose us! Both are always working to improve their knowledge base with seminars and conferences. They are VERY involved with the community they serve. They volunteer their time in the area and they live where they work so they know the area well. They offer excellent referrals for services of all kinds and we loved their recommendations! We explored down payment assistance programs available and they invested time to learn as much as they could to help us navigate that process and connected us with others in the mortgage industry to offer their expertise. They are down to earth, supportive, helpful, and encouraging. They made themselves available to tour homes within hours of being listed due to the seller's market we faced. They spent countless hours with us as we nitpicked details. They never made us feel like we were the annoyances I know we were! When we bought our forever home, they were so enthusiastic and supportive. We feel like we found friends in a process that is incredibly stressful and an emotional roller coaster. We absolutely recommend them. No one will work harder for you and they will only get better from there!

We had previously had a pool installed and, due to the wear and tear of construction, needed our…read morewooden fence gate repaired. Finding a fence company that will do "smaller" jobs was a bit of a struggle, but thankfully Colton was happy to help. He came out at the expected time, gave a fair quote and since we were planning on doing it eventually anyway, I trusted him and his crew at MiCo Development Group to install a 2nd gate on the other side of the fence. The quote for the project was fair and delivered quickly through email via a customer portal. Payment for the deposit was simple and easy to do and everything was honest and straightforward. We scheduled a time for the work to be done a few weeks after the quote and Colton was communicative about the best days, letting us know that they had to adjust slightly for the Thanksgiving holiday, but was also clear in checking in ahead the day before to make sure the date worked out. When the work was done, they showed up on time and went over the agreed upon specs ahead of time. Colton and Mike paid attention to every detail I mentioned (such as a specific gate latch that I wanted) before starting. And in the middle of the job, when they accidentally hit a sprinkler line, they were honest about it and ensured that it was fixed properly before calling the job complete. The repairs were done in about half a day and now I have the piece of mind of (two!) working gates. Professional, friendly, prompt and fairly priced, as well as amazing customer service makes MiCo Development stand out above any other company here on Yelp.
