But it's not the "no charge" that gets the 5 stars; everything about his office and staff said, "We care about our patients, and we intend to take care of their dental needs." My old dentist out west is part of an "industrial" clinic, with 5 dentists and the feeling that patients are simply insurance cards with wallets. When I…read moreexpressed concern that the dentist had told him my problem was with the wrong tooth, he did a very thorough exam and determined that I didn't need a root canal and that #4 was in good shape. Instead I had a chip off a different tooth. He also mentioned something I should be aware of if fixing the chipped tooth didn't help my pain. I very much appreciate his help, especially for not doing a root canal on a healthy tooth! I never would have known and he would have made more money.
