In 2020 I retained the firm again for a criminal case in Walker County GA. Bryan Hoss was my attorney. I experienced the most disgusting, pompous, and disappointing outcome possible. We shook on a representation agreement in July 2020 and over the next two years he failed to contact the DA for a resolution to a weak and simple case. The firm failed to follow through after a bench warrant was issued due to an address/paperwork issue. I was arrested and left incarcerated while they sorted out a simple document that wasn't finalized. I had multiple phone calls with Bryan while in jail during which he treated me as subhuman while informing me I would have to settle my case with a plea deal because I was a bad person due to a prior criminal record. The firm then proceeded to demand more money for a trial and plea negotiations. They petitioned the court with a motion to withdraw as counsel and left me hanging years into a charge. I was forced to pay another firm to represent me. The new attorney made one phone call and one court appearance and the charges were dismissed due to zero evidence. The firm of Davis & Hoss has no interest in representing average, hard working clients. Especially those that require pesky after hours work or phone calls.
