Even though I wish I could recommend this daycare because I believe some of the teachers are really…read moregreat at what they do, I wouldn't recommend anyone taking their child here. We encountered issues and when we addressed them with the director, we were given excuse after excuse and things continued to deteriorate. Then, a new child in our child's class started biting other children including our daughter, and sometimes it happened every day. The director's way of handling the situation was to 'continue to train the staff and monitor the child more closely.' Needless to say, the behavior continued and then they started removing the child who was being bitten (not the child who was actually biting other children) and taking them to a younger classroom so they had to miss out on the activities happening in their class. We finally had to remove our daughter from this center when it became clear that nothing was going to be done to protect the children being victimized by another child who had displayed a clear pattern of behavior that needed to be handled in a more deliberate fashion but went largely ignored. Another child who was being victimized was also removed from the center about the same time as our daughter by her parents because they were met with the same response from the director. Our daughter was also constantly sick, which may be a given when a bunch of children are together all day. However, it resulted in her having to have surgery and she was STILL sick all the time afterwards. Now that she is no longer attending this center, she no longer struggles with being sick constantly. And, of course, when we addressed this concern with the director, we were met with excuses. The main root of the problem at this center is that the director is incapable, or simply unwilling, of actually solving problems, and instead resorts to blaming the staff and making excuses to placate the parents. The teaching staff did everything they could to help us with this situation but their hands were tied since the director wouldn't do anything about it. The turnover rate at this center is ridiculously high, and is reportedly due to the director making it a hostile workplace that teachers don't want to work in. There are also reports of infestations of mice and cockroaches in the buildings.

She might seem sweet at a tour of you choose to get one, but just know it's fake. Know that before you got there, she told her teachers to remember the parents can see and hear you. (I just question why she feels the need to say this. If you have a trustworthy staff that you are confident in, you wouldn't need to say such a thing!!) 2. Avoid this place at all cost if you have an infant/toddler. There are infant teachers who will talk to the babies (0-12months) as if they are functioning adults. Raising voices at them and getting actually upset with these babies because they "already told them not to do that" as if the baby has any idea at all. Not only this, but all of the teachers who work in the nursery's are pretty rough with the babies when moving them around (this does not include Fanta or Anna, they are very kind individuals). They seem to think of these children as OBJECTS and not A PERSON. 3. The admin team, mainly Michelle and Tonya, are not fit for there jobs at all. If you think your kid is being taken care of well, it is probably because they are feeding you LIES so they can make money. I heard from employees that they have asked employees to lie to parents about their child's fever.. fevers can quickly escalate in small children. They could have been the cause of seizures or hospital visits with that kind of reckless behavior. Let that sink in, it could be your kid next. 4. If you are hired here for employment, expect to be judged the second you walk in. if they decide they don't like you, expect your life to be hell for months and always feel hated. They won't change their mind ether, no matter how nice you are to them. My mental health declined severely while being here. 5. Within the past 3 months, a toddler teacher dislocated a child's arm because she picked them up by their arms at just 1 year old. I have witnessed the same teacher yell in a toddlers ear as a form of "payback" saying "yea you don't like it do you?? You did it to me first" (remember this lady is over 21 and the child is a year old..) (also admin love her!!)..... she still works there... and if you think that's bad, her lead teacher is even worse. It's very clear that she hates her job, she is so mean to those toddlers. Yelling constantly. And no respect for the children.. 6. The last thing I want to speak on is children with behavioral issues/ disabilities. These teachers at this daycare WILL be mean to your child and label them as a "bad kid" if they are unable to communicate like the rest of the kids/are unable to understand as well as other children. I've seen it. Don't take the risk, it is truly NOT worth it. With all of that being said, these are some of the horrendous things that I became aware of about this so-called "daycare". there are better daycares out there, don't risk your child's mental and physical well-being by sending them here. I truly do not think it's worth it.

Not only do they develop them academically, they also prepare them socially for building friendships and playing well with others. We were always kept up-to-date on the classroom activities and any issues our children may have encountered during their day. As a result of such a wonderful experience, all three of our kids adjusted extremely well during the transition to kindergarten. They were above their peers academically, and made friends quickly. I attribute this to the great foundation that was built at Sweet Beginnings Early Learning Center.

I was initially a bit nervous since Purple Dragon is more structured and has a lot of vegetables on the menu -- but honestly, we've had such a great experience. Clean school and cost friendly. We saved about a hundred per week going here. Makes a difference for our growing family! I can tell my daughter is well loved - she hasn't once mentioned her old school ha! Purple Dragon doesn't have an app, but I don't mind. Ms. Mila sent me pictures during Wednesday's first two weeks, which was really thoughtful. She also told me to check the papers in my daughter's backpack daily -- now it's become a fun little ritual we do together while dinner is in the oven. I can tell this week they're working on D, E & F vocabulary, farm animals, coloring, and colors. We're also practicing pulling pants up and down to get ready for potty training. Ms. Mila even sends home adorable magazine cutouts as "homework" to help with Wednesday's speech. It's small touches like that that make a big difference. A core memory for us: on her second day home from Purple Dragon, Wednesday was dancing and singing their school song all over the house. Chris and I looked at each other like, "Okay... she *loves* this place!" So far, so good! My daughter is happy, eats vegetables *by the bowl* (just wow!), and even though it's a bit out of the way for us, I truly can't imagine her going anywhere else.
