Like yeah I get you work at a minimum wage fast food restaurant and you probably hate your life but there's no reason to put that onto someone else. Most fast food places now function with drive thru-only. We were very pleasantly surprised to experience a superb functioning drive-thru audio system. It's just common sense, to have this system functioning well in current times. This Jack in the Box near LSU is the best, most clear system experienced in Baton Rouge. The order attendant was well spoken, clear, calm and patient. What a novelty. Many businesses could learn and increase their business success from this example. I would give it five stars for the food. The spicy chicken biscuit is delicious and the chicken is bigger than some restaurant portions. Their breakfast dishes are good too. I like that the staff knows me, though they should. I am about the only regular early morning customer. It is aggravating when I go in that no one is watching for customers and the employees are in the back. I stand there many times wondering if they will finally notice me. Also, they are open 24 hours. Mop the damn floor at 3 in the morning when no one is there--not when people come in to eat breakfast. And the guy who mops had the infuriating habit of putting his bucket of mop water on the cabinet by the register. Not appetizing. This place needs a good thorough manager to whip it into shape. Also, their coffee is lousy. I've told them so and bring my own. Their breakfast offerings are far superior to McDonalds and keep me coming back. Canes is open really late, see if they are open. So This place is supposed to be 24 hours. One time I showed up on a Friday night and sat at the window for a few minutes and was completely ignored. Tonight at 4 in the morning with nobody in line I am told it will be 10-15 minutes before I can even place my order. I just want to place my order and eat. I rarely go to Jack In The Box and when I do it's the one by my house, which the lines are long but they are busy and friendly. Here at this location, I get a kid who doesn't greet me and ask if I'm not ready to order then pull back to the first board. Little did she know someone was behind me, so I ignored her request and paused and waited. In the process of me ordering my food, someone else hops on the line and so it makes everything worst on their part. The background noise of people talking and having a ball doesn't help as I'm telling my order and she's repeating what's not my order back to me... and the kid who is super impatient is also talking and it's a mess. Then I made sure I got a receipt because I'm reporting this. This is not great customer service. I must've pissed her off because she didn't say thank you or have a nice day but I surely did say it. I work in retail and customer service IS A THING. These new generation kids have no professionalism what do ever. I will not come back to this establishment and urge others to not do so as well. I will be contacting corporate as well because I worked fast food before and I know they are trying to manipulate time as well. read more

I went here over the weekend as I sober cabbed my friend and hit up the drive through. We were the third car to pull up to the drive through and we never moved. Not until we left. After about ten minutes my friend went up the car that had been sitting at the menu to order the entire time we were there and asked what was going on.
