Supposed to be onion rings! A bunch of over and under cooked mess. I'm speechless and hope I don't get sick from consuming uncooked batter.

    The closed sign

I came 3 times around 5:30 am, every time I come, there is a sign that's says "sorry we're closed".Every time never fails. Definitely would not recommend this location. Management needs to be fired, they are very lazy but what do you expect from fast food workers right? Would give 0 stars if possible.

Fortunately for my…read morewaistline, Martin and Evelyn's taco truck isn't near my house, because if it were, I'd be a Grande Gordo in no time. I debated between the torta and the tacos, but since this was our first date, I played it safe and ordered the carne asada tacos. At $3.25 each, they're street taco-sized in theory, but the mountain of perfectly seasoned carne asada spilling out of them told a different story. I actually had to ask for a fork just to finish what escaped onto the tray. The tacos came loaded with fresh cilantro and red onions and tasted far more gourmet than their humble appearance suggested. The red and green salsas were both excellent, but the real star was their pico de gallo-style salsa. It had a slightly fermented tang that instantly reminded me of kimchi, and I found myself putting it on everything. This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. Next time, I'm skipping the internal debate and going straight for the torta.

I had a pretty poor experience at Los Gorditos. I would not…read morereturn or recommend. - I had 3 sopes and two tacos. The pastor and carne asada had no flavor. The carne lacked char, and was thickly diced. The pastor did not come with pineapple, and had a slightly chewy texture. The tortillas for the sopes were pretty good though. I thought they had a next bite to them, but the chicken that I ordered with them was very dry, and again lacked flavor. They were loaded with fresh cilantro, red onion, beans, queso fresco, and crema. My girlfriend really enjoyed your tripa tacos, but also stated that her asada taco was flavorless. Additionally, the salsa had no spice or flavor whatsoever. To end on a good note, the horchata here was particularly good. Probably one of the better horchatas in Vegas. - The service I had was also very subpar. The lady at the service window did not greet us when we walked up, and was not diligent or attentive when taking our order. - Finally, I'm really not sure if it was the truck or the area, but it smelled really bad. I was concerned that something was wrong, because it smelled almost like sewage (which it very well could have been, considering this is a food truck in a parking lot.) there's no seating, and they give you a buzzer to wait in your car for your food, which is a nice touch. Ultimately, I wish I could say I was happy I tried this place, but I did not enjoy it, and wish I would have taken my money elsewhere.

It wasn't busy during our visit, aside from the adobada line, which we weren't ordering from. The gentleman working the asada area seemed irritated and was not very welcoming. We ordered carne asada fries and tacos. The food was okay, but the meat tasted burnt. We also asked for guacamole but received the green creamy sauce, which tasted more like a mayo and sour cream-based sauce than actual guacamole. This place used to be great, which is why we kept coming back, but after three disappointing visits in a row, we've decided we probably won't return. Hopefully the food quality and customer service improve because we genuinely used to enjoy eating here. The place was clean and well maintained. However, the cashiers seemed more focused on talking among themselves than acknowledging or assisting customers, which made the service feel less welcoming.

Between us we got a beef burrito/cheese enchilada combo, a birria ramen, and a fish taco. I think the best of the bunch was the fish taco. It was good, tasty and very well stuffed. It was also doubled shelled and also stuffed with rice. For one taco it was very filling. The combo was ok but the cheese stayed hard. The least favorite was the Birria Ramen. They gave you a generous amount of tender beef but the soup was so salty you'd drop dead if you ate it. The girl at the counter was present and answered questions and served us quickly.

And during the other days, I still eat their tacos I think this is a really good truck. I would highly suggest coming here to get some tacos. They have really good Pollo tacos. Also, I love their pollo asada tacos the best. I think the flavor and moistness is hands down the best I've had. My boyfriend loves their Al Pastor and Carne Asada tacos. They have a large assortment of meats to choose from, lingua, asada, birria, abodado, carnitas. More than just a taco truck, they have birria ramen, tortas, carne asada fries. I have not tried any of those yet. During the day you'll find lovely ladies that are helping you at night and I find that it's usually the same guys helping you every night. All the staff that I've seen has been very friendly and very welcoming and eager to assist. It's just a taco truck right next to the Arco gas station. Can't miss it, big red truck. Sometimes there is a wait especially if you come during peak hours, but usually they can get your order in and out within about 10 minutes. They do have a rewards club that you can join. It's 1 point for every seven dollars that you spend. And then sometimes you'll also get text specials and freebies which I enjoy. I think that the food here has a lot of value and it's good portions. My friend's order came out piled high with steak, sauce, cheese, and looked fresh, loaded, and delicious. Mine looked like they barely tried very little steak, skimpy toppings, and nowhere near the same quality or portion size. For food that cost close to $40, both plates should have been prepared with the same care and same portions. It was disappointing to sit there looking at two completely different meals when we ordered the same thing. My friend's potato looked amazing and flavorful, while mine was bland and sad in comparison. The real problem is that consistency is one of the most important parts of running any restaurant or food truck. Customers should know that if two people order the same item at the same time, they're going to receive the same quality, portion size, and overall experience. When one order is overloaded and the other is skimpy, it makes customers feel like they paid the same price for less value. It also makes it hard to trust what you'll get if you come back again. Good food brings people in once, but consistency is what keeps them returning. If my food had come out like hers, I'd absolutely consider coming back. But after paying that much and getting such an uneven experience, I'm not sure I would return. Consistency matters, especially at those prices. It's a food truck. There's no ambience. You just stand outside order your food and then you go away.
