Wife and I came to town . We both got a chicken fried steak dinner. I got fried potatoes with cheese and bacon . She got grilled vegetables with hers My fried potatoes was a backed potato cut into small pieces with longhorn cheese and bacon bits from a bottle . Then put in a microwave to melt the cheese. My wife's grilled vegetables were so mushy and disgusting . She didn't eat them. I was only able to eat a few bits of the potatoes . Wasn't fried potatoes just a baked potato with items thrown on top. Not to my liking . We both made the same comment to each other about the gravy . No flavor . The toast given with meal had a strange flavor. Unable the eat the toast - not to our liking. The chicken fried steak. Only able to eat half. Also not to our liking . My wife also had gotten chips. Chips from a bag and heated up . The meal wasn't to our liking and we won't be coming back. First time here, they sat us down and the table was dirty. When our waiter came I politely asked her if she could wipe it down. She apologized and rapidly took care of it! The beer selection was not large which was a little disappointing. I ordered the sirloin with a side of mash fully loaded and onion rings and my boyfriend had the little jack burger with guac with a side of garlic fries. When the food came out everything look so yummy. Unfortunately my food was cold. The onion rings where good but again cold. Do not order the mash it tasted old and the sides of the mash where hard. The meat however was my favorite part so maybe I would try to pick other sides next time. My boyfriends burger was really good, tasty and hot! Do not order the garlic fries... it's basically fries on a pool of garlic flavored oil. Too much grease. The waiter was very attentive, nice and professional so that was a plus! This place is disgusting. I had the loaded chicken and onion rings. The onion rings were okay. However, the rice that was under the chicken smelled and tasted similar to what could have been described as a heavily soiled baby's diaper. I don't know if the rice was moldy or what. Wild rice does not have a stale, moldy smell or taste. I told the waitress; but of course nothing was done. I will never return. Learn how to cook rice and learn how to tell if rice is bad or not ( for whomever destroyed my taste buds with that horrid meal). Additionally my boyfriend ordered the shrimp platter and it barely had any food on it (maybe the flies ate half of his food). We went twice last weekend. We are from Dallas but my husband works in guymon so I visit him once a month. Great food and great service both times. The fried jalapenos are awesome. The buffalo chicken salad could use darker lettuce and some tomatoes. The waitresses were really good. We will be back. read more

The parking lot was full when I arrived and it's clear this is where the locals eat. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and okra... always a safe bet in Oklahoma! Love the environment, friendly and comfortable. Traveling by myself and was made to feel at home right away! Asked to be reseated because of a group with 10 kids and they had no problem with that, did so with a smile! Had the Texas toothpicks for an appetizer and they were good, lots of flavor in the onions And the peppers! Yum! Had the flat iron steak done medium and it was done to perfection. The best customer service. The waiters are well trained attitude wise before being released alone. The food is Good and bar area isn't bad. I would choose this place over The Pub on the bricks. They are similar food wise and bar. But the Customer service here is way better than the staff over there. The only thing here you have to really watch for is their cups from the bar area some of them have small little cracks and they'll bust your lip right open. I guess they tend to crack a little when they are pouring the draft beer. This only happened to me once and they were super nice about it and understanding. They gave me a gift card to go back again equivalent to my bill price. You'll have the best customer service with Mama D he positive and energetic attitude rubs off on everyone else. Went looking for Eddies Steakhouse and couldn't find it so I stumbled upon Cactus Jacks, when walking in it didn't feel welcoming saw hostess walk by 2 waitresses look at me and kept talking I was just about to leave when the lady tending the bar came to me and asked if I would like to sit in her section I said ok. From there the service got better she recommend wings I said ok they came out they were great she also recommended steak so I ordered the 8 oz sirloin with steamed veggies man that was a good steak as well food was great will I be back yes but not to sit in restaurant area they were unhelpful and rude lady tending the bar area has great customer service. read more
