Brook did a great job balancing professionalism and friendliness, was easy to work with and always sent a maintenance person within a few days when needed. (It was never "Oh we'll send someone out in a few days," it was more "How does Thursday morning sound? Can you wait til then?" - this is an important distinction because if something had been really urgent I know they would have worked maintenance in ASAP.) Another small thing - many times when I emailed them, I would receive a helpful message back not just within the day but within an hour or two. My roommates and I were respected and treated like humans, not just warm bodies to fill the space and make money. I was shocked when I learned that Willett has a bunch of properties because it felt so personal and down-to-earth to work with them. We even got our full deposit back - after ALMOST FOUR YEARS of living there. To be fair, we scrubbed the heck out of the place over several long days, but I've never worked with a property manager that doesn't try to grab as much of the deposit as possible. We only terminated our tenancy because I got a job in another city, but if we move back to Portland we'll be in touch with Willett about their vacancies for sure. It's not that we were really "spoiled" by Willett... it's that this is how property management should be: clear, communicative, and relational.

Brook and Mike ensure you are taken care of with the least possible intrusion. We were sad to move and have recommended their homes to others friends in the area looking for spaces.

I wouldn't trust an agent that would assist in the criminal sale of someone else's property. I called and talked to him when I found out, and he pretended not to know. Then said the new owners showed him a piece of paper that said they were the owners. I calmly said Ken show me the piece of paper, he said don't yell at me and hung-up. Crime is still in-progress. Redwood Holding A giant corporation filed the fraudulent trustees deed on 2-7-2023 the same day the first case below was entered on the docket. Second case could still go on for a year or more. Also three cases in Oregon Appeals Court, then Oregon Supreme and the US Supreme Court again. We live 1 1/2 hours away from the property and have our terminally ill father living with us, so before we made the drive, I contacted the listing agent (Lisa Frahm-Hinkle) with a list of questions. She answered a couple of questions, but not all, so I asked if she could address the rest of them. I never heard back from her, so I contacted the ReMax Power Pros owner (Lea Chitwood) but she hasn't replied either. Too bad for the seller, because if the property was what we were looking for, we were prepared to make an offer the day we looked at it. The property couldn't be financed so the terms were "cash", which we had. It has been 11 days since I first contacted Lisa and I see the property listing is still active. Very, very disappointing from a consumer's point of view.
