A couple of weeks after that, we received a letter from Farmers that they were cancelling our insurance due to the inspector saying we had problems with our foundation. The appraiser for our house found no such issues. So we are left with no insurance on an older home and having to scramble to find something else. Our agent at the company was supposed to be working with underwriters to reverse the decision or get a different policy, but she didn't bother to follow up with us, which would just have been a basic common courtesy. How ridiculous is it to inspect a house after you've already given someone insurance? I don't recommend using Farmers Insurance.
