Per the contract that I signed, it states that I authorized them to "perform repairs as indicated on their estimate due to my loss of 6/7/25". That amount was $551.71 which was paid in full. They have sent the asbestos bill to a collection agency because I refused to pay because I did not order the test. I requested proof that I ordered the test and I have yet to see that proof. They stated they will put a lien on my property that would include interest and fees. I will file a claim with small claims court to rectify this situation. I am 82, live on social security and will fight this charge. If they have done this to me, how many other victims have they taken advantage of, especially during a time of personal crisis?
