Very overhyped gelato shop with impatient staff and limited flavors (unique but also overdone: coconut ube, honeycomb, black currant). The gelato is okay, and very cheap, so I think that's a big reason people like this place

There is a reason there is always a line at this gelato shop! None of the generic flavors here, and they change daily. After sampling a couple, we went with Salted Oreo and Blackcurrant. These were delicious, but so were the Stroopwaffle and Polets Breton, so it's clear they have many unique offerings. One scoop on top of a cone was more than enough to satisfy us.

    Almond raspberry swirl and honeycomb!

Small place , big on flavor! Superb gelato. May have a line but it moves fast. Under 5 euros for two large scoops. Very unique flavors.

The unique flavors, perfect texture, and friendly staff make Jacks Gelato a must try while you are in Cambridge. If the line is a little long go enjoy a beer at the Eagle and come back. They bring the queue of people down very effectively. Some personal favorites of mine were the honey comb and raspberry cake!

Jack's gelato features interesting flavors of Ice cream! I was super surprised to see elderflower sorbet as I've never had that flavor in ice cream form. The burnt sugar + salt was delicious and the strawberries and cream was not bad. Their Ice cream tastes like it's made of real materials and has a nice consistency. There is limited seating inside so I recommend getting to eat as you walk around the area.

A delight in Cambridge, which at times felt like food desert. Very flexible as well, allowed me to put two flavors in one cup.

I highly recommend their Coconut Chocolate Chip and Mascarpone, which are the two flavors I ended up getting!

The ice cream is made daily in the counter-top machines, served with cakes and biscuits also made there: flavours change based on the produce available at Cambridge Market in the morning, so you'll always be offered something new and delicious. So ice cream is obviously for summer? You couldn't be more wrong! The autumn flavours coming up - roast apricots, spices and potential savoury specials - will bring you in when the days are short and the sun just a wistful memory... A beautifully appointed space with a bijou number of seats, 6 Ice Cream is a perfect addition to food obsessed Cambridge - pop in when it's sunny, satisfy a craving when the weather's miserable, and take home a six pack with all the toppings for a perfect dessert - only leave some for me!

The answer would be: it is so delicious and fresh that you do not have the time to take a picture before you eat all of it. I had Blood Orange Sorbet, which got the perfect balance between zesty and sweet and Lemon Yogurt, which was very creamy but still got the healthy feeling of a yogurt. Also, they have a lovely selection of toppings. Nicely presented, all looked very tasty. And, I saw they serve Monmouth coffee. I did not order one, but I know it would be great just by seeing the Monmouth name. Definitely will come back no matter how long the queue would be!!!

My husband was able to find whole oats here (called Jumbo Oats) which he couldn't find in any of the major grocery stores. The meat prices are extremely good especially for being so fresh and local, and the frozen meats are a super bargain! We bought some just-picked seasonal strawberries yesterday and they were amazingly delicious. We still need to get some things at a bigger store like some familiar national/international brands or particular varieties of groceries, but Radmore Farm Shop is definitely our new place to walk for fruit, veg, and meat. It's perfect for those "What are we going to have for dinner" afternoons because I can grab meat, onions, mushrooms, and whatever veg suits and cook something up fast. We are definite fans and plan to shop here routinely while we're in town.

I'd barely even caught on to the new trend with social media in London, so imagine my surprise when I was shopping through the city centre and walked by Bubble Tap on its opening day last winter. They're a bit pricey, but portioned to share, so we ordered one with chocolate ice cream, Nutella, strawberries, sprinkles, and cream and didn't know what to expect in terms of wait time. Would I come back? It's a novel, "grammable" dessert but not something I'd go out of my way to eat again, especially not on my own. Since that visit, I've learned that they now offer menu combinations dedicated to the scientists of Cambridge, like the Newton or the Turing. Interesting.

My son, not a waffle fan, hedged his bets on the milkshake. Both of us left very happy. This place is delicious and I like that the fruit is cut up as you order rather than prepped and sitting there all day. The place is clean and the seating and cone holders fun. I would highly recommend it and while the prices are higher this is definitely a sharing treat or whole meal! In sum, a nice local place (it's not a chain, so tourists please support it like the rest of our independent stores in Cambridge)! It is very instagram-friendly food and because I'm a student I got a discount, so I would remind people to bring their student IDs too! This was my first visit and I would definitely go back for the strawberry banana one! Nom!

The restaurant description: Finest dry-aged beef, cheddar cheese, tomato, date & walnut jam, caramelised onions, rocket, honey & truffle mayo. I had the burger sans onions and it was quite good. The sweetness of the date & walnut jam was a nice balance to the umami flavor of the beef. The bun held up well with all the ingredients in-between which made for a pleasant dining experience...if you've ever had a burger on a disintegrating bun, you'll appreciate a good quality bun like they use here. The Parmesan and Truffle Chips we're just okay. Not much parmesan and any truffle oil used was not detectable. I would probably just recommend the regular chips instead. Overall I'm recommending Butch Annie's for when you're in Cambridge and craving a high quality burger. They also have a pretty good Classic Rock playlist going (for your listening pleasure) so your ears don't get jealous of your tongue.
