In doing so PPM issued a 24 hr eviction notice to me. I sought help and found Mr. Capp. He made time to see me right away. He reviewed the details and gave me clear concise information on how the legal process works in landlord/tenant matters. With that first visit, we made a quick strategy. Mr. Capp continued to provide his counsel and advice with leaving me to make the right decisions for myself. He provided very clear and heart-dropping details on the risks I faced with each stage of the process. He communicated with me every step of the way, and I felt well informed about what was going on. I appreciated that Mr. Capp would listen to the thoughts and feelings I was expressing with excited Italian hand gestures. Within 20 minutes or so I got a text saying it was a conflict of interest. I called and asked why. Viviana explained that "some of our CLIENTS use RiverBend so that would be a conflict of interest". At first, I thought I misunderstood. Incredulously, I confirmed she was talking about their clients... people like you and me... who might use RiverBend. I confirmed they are unable to represent anyone with a claim against RiverBend due to their made-up exclusion. So, who do they litigate if they can't litigate against the major hospitals? How much does RiverBend pay them to refuse cases, claiming a conflict of interest? IMO: Shlesinger & deVilleneuve is a scam and a blight on the legal profession.

Great customer service and business is it's own word of mouth. When I finally contacted them I was able to work with a lawyer named Emily, she seemed put out from the beginning. I didn't do much research before honestly but if I hand I would of never called them. First of all it took them a very long time to request my information, I had to finally follow up with THEM after three weeks. Then after I did reach someone I spoke to another lady who was actually rather pleasant and helpful. I wish I got her name she told me Emily had been out of the office so she would do the work of getting my information disc from the appropriate agency. Long story short Emily finally contacted me three weeks after receiving my information basically telling me I did the whole process wrong and that my doctors writing was very hard to read so she couldn't decipher anything. I guess reading hand notes is rather tasking. Bottom line I spoke to another firm that was very detailed, extremely helpful, and directed me on the right path. I should of took the reviews serious when people stated this firm is more worried about the payout rather then the actually incident or the pain and suffering that was involved!

On top of all of that she was nice enough to give me a courtesy email after no longer representing me saying I needed to go to the courthouse and guess what? She didn't forward the court my NEW ADDRESS I had during the original battle..,so now I GET to pay ANOTHER ATTORNEY to reverse the same freaking judgement I just paid her for!!!! It also took 2 months to get my $130 refund back...stating my new address wasn't any good!! Oddly enough I get every other BILL here!!! Stay AWAY!!!!
