Unprofessional, Embarrassing, and Unacceptable Behavior from Tammy and Cindy…read more I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt it was absolutely necessary to speak up about the appalling behavior I witnessed during my recent visit. The experience was so unprofessional and uncomfortable that I can't stay silent. While I was in the store I observed two employees--Tammy and Cindy--engaging in behavior that was not only unprofessional but downright bullying. They were openly yelling at another employee who was clearly new and still in training. This poor individual was doing their best, clearly nervous, and instead of being supported or coached, they were berated in front of customers for minor mistakes. It wasn't a one-time correction or a quick aside--it was loud, prolonged, and humiliating. Tammy and Cindy were both talking over each other, correcting the new employee harshly in front of everyone, and their tone was condescending and aggressive. It was obvious to anyone within earshot that this was not the first time they had treated someone this way. I could see the trainee trying to keep it together, but it was heartbreaking to watch. They looked completely overwhelmed and embarrassed, and honestly, I wouldn't blame them if they walked out and never came back. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially someone who is still learning the ropes. How do you expect someone to grow or succeed in their role when they're being verbally attacked and belittled? The entire interaction made me feel uncomfortable and frustrated as a customer. If this is how management allows their staff to act toward one another, I have serious concerns about how the business is run behind the scenes. It reflects poorly not just on Tammy and Cindy, but on whoever is in charge for allowing such behavior to go unchecked. Tammy and Cindy need to be reprimanded, retrained on professional conduct, or seriously reconsidered for leadership positions--if they even hold them. No one should be subjected to that kind of treatment at work, especially not someone who is clearly still trying to find their footing. The behavior was toxic, unacceptable, and creates a hostile work environment. I sincerely hope someone in upper management sees this and takes real action. If not, I can't imagine this workplace retaining good staff--or loyal customers--for long.

I have nothing but good things to say about the level of help I've received. Kaylee in Hardware has gone above and beyond, and Justin behind the service desk has been of great help. Most of the employees have been super helpful, whether I need to find something or get something loaded into my car. I also get my prescriptions from the Walmart Pharmacy. The people working behind that counter are knowledgeable, courteous, and pleasant - always. I might not be able to find every item I need, but with COVID that's pretty much the way it is everywhere. Kudos to the Wapakoneta Walmart for doing what they can, and providing a safe environment in which to shop.

Nor do I regret all the drives to Findlay and feeling absolutely miserable with hot flashes for the 14 weeks that I tried Stan's various concoctions because I met some absolutely wonderful people. These folks here are the sweetest, so so soooo kind! For example, when they overcharged my credit card and I later caught it and brought it to their attention, they immediately credited my money back. Yay! When in their pharmacy I had them double-check to make sure they really gave me the corrected prescription and they didn't, they immediately admitted their mistake and had me wait while they prepared what I should have received. Yay! The two times Stan couldn't meet me as scheduled, they called me the next day to make another appointment and up until when they had to tell me they could not help me, they always took my phone calls or responded to my emails. Yay! Ultimately, after 14 weeks and $1,000 Stan said he couldn't help so I called the Cleveland Clinic. I had a 20-minute telehealth visit with an OBGYN and they called in two prescriptions. Within four days my hot flashes stopped, truly like a miracle! I don't think I would have found the Cleveland Clinic, or known how easy it is to deal with them (and insurance covered 100%) had I not gone through all of this hell with Scarbrough's.

I miss a pharmacy feel where they know and seem to really care for my son and family. The pharmacy in GA asked how he was doing every time I called for a refill and went above and beyond to make sure we had our medicine in a timely manner. It also takes so long to get compounded medications here, and we live 30 minutes away so when the medications are ready on the day they say after 3, that basically means I have to wait an extra day to get the medications. I know it is a bigger town so the personal touch isn't going to be the same. I just expect too much I guess. I just told an employee my 4 year old is being admitted in the hospital and they seemed more irritated that I was calling to make sure I can get the meds sooner. I've been taught in customer service to care about people. I've worked many customer service positions, and feel more training is needed here. I mean you are working in a field where people may truly be battling things, and I just feel it takes more care and compassion. Just my feelings, it seems others may have had better experiences. Perhaps it is just that the other pharmacy was the most amazing place. Eric (the GA pharmacist) would have said he is sorry to hear that, and that he would try to get those prepared for me as soon as possible. Just miss customer service like that.
