Everything! The entire staff rocks!! Friendly and professional. I would not go anywhere else!!

Where can I begin. I've been a customer for at least a couple years. Used to go in every single day for everything from gas, to drinks, to tobacco. I've been on a first name basis with many of the employees for how often I'd go. I've seen many of them come and go. Recently, I stopped going to this place completely after a couple of incidents left me with zero desire to shop here. The first and most important one is that the manager, an old angry lady named Sandy, is so unprofessional that I have seen her on multiple occasions now reprimand employees in a very unacceptable way, using foul language and threatening to fire them IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS, worse yet for MINOR THINGS. She doesn't care if there's people standing in line waiting to pay for their things, she's stopped everything she's doing to absolutely DEMEAN these people, her employees, in front of customers, women and children, USING BAD WORDS. This is BEYOND unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Besides this, she's been rude and nasty to myself and to other customers on days where it is CLEAR that she must be having a bad day, and somehow thinks that makes it okay to take it out on others. I wasn't going to bother leaving a review, but the reason I am is because these are not only isolated incidents. IT KEEPS HAPPENING. Someone like that has NO PLACE running a store. Super unprofessional, lacking any respect for employees let alone customers. People don't need to see that. They go there to buy gas, smokes, and go home. They don't need to be talked to with a condescending attitude either. Make of this what you will, but I wouldn't feel right if I didn't give my two cents on the situation so maybe your corporate office is aware of the clown show they're running here. read more

Worst gas station I've ever been to in my life. I never thought I'd ever even write those words, because it's a gas station, who cares? But this place is seriously terrible. Numerous times going there at 7 AM and there's only one person manning a register. Multiple times there's an employee there during the rush and instead of running a register they're farting around talking to regulars or otherwise being unproductive. One of their employees is apparently extremely hard of hearing and is always giving me the wrong cigarettes. Sorry, but "shorts" sounds nothing like "one hundreds." read more

Convenient location. Has car wash. I also use my card when I purchase gas most of the time. I do not go inside this store/station often. When I do I do not use $100s. I have not had any problems with any of the clerks on the few times I did go inside. I do like its location, as it is close to the freeway. I also like that I can pay for my gas and car wash all on one transaction at the pump with my card. Overall, never had a problem and will continue to visit until they give me a reason to stop coming here. read more

Jacksons Food Stores - Gas Stations Near Me - Reno, Nevada

I have lived in this neighborhood, across the street from Jackson's on Clear Acre (not sure why it says San Francisco) for a little over three years. Cashiers come and go, but they are generally very friendly and professional. There have even been times, especially when the pandemic first hit, when late at night, iffy customers tried to rush the lone cashier, and I acted like a kind of security guard to make sure he was safe until business slowed down and I could purchase my items and go home. I've never had any problems until recently. There is a cashier there now, who is ever so much less than friendly, and for some reason whenever my daughter and I come in, there's a problem. Previously, when I come in the store, he runs back into the office to pretend he's doing something important so someone else can ring me up. In the short few months that he's been there, he's only rung me up once. Yes, I noticed. Once. Whenever I go in to buy a money order, the machine is ALWAYS out of service. I think they do that on purpose at the beginning of the month so they don't have to be bothered. And I've never ever seen him stock a single thing. I went in this morning, and he tried to run back in the office when he saw us walk up, and I noticed he had locked the doors. I knocked on the window, because I KNOW he saw me, so he writes this handmade little sign saying he's closing out and to come back in a half hour. I went across the street hoping that store would be open, and as we were coming back, it looked like he was going to open the store for some people who had just drove up, but then turned them away. This store is supposed to be open 24 hours a day. I am livid. My daughter wasn't feeling well, and I wanted to get some medicine really quick for her. I don't drive, which is why I love that this Jackson's is so close for emergencies. But not today. This is the first time I've ever seen the doors locked for any reason. Not even at Christmas!! I don't know what his problem is with me, because I've done nothing to him, but he's been snotty and snarky since day one. I thought it was just me, but my neighbor shop here as well, and she remarked on it when we were both in the store at the same time. I talked to a few other of my neighbors and they said they noticed or are having the same issues. Even talking to a couple of the people who service the store with products don't care for him. People notice, and people talk. He's getting a reputation. If you don't want to work, or don't want to provide quality customer service to the people in THIS neighborhood, I suggest you transfer to another store or get a different type of job so you can be around the people you like or you may find yourself without a job. I may not look like much to you, but my money spends just as well as anyone else's, and it pays YOUR salary. Remember that. read more

Watch out for these guys in this store they will try to steal your money!!! I really DONT like this gas station - because I had an issue one time with them trying to rip me off! I rarely ever carry cash. I use my card all the time (flyer miles!!) but this day I happen to go to the bank, take out $100 cash, and headed straight to the gas station. I knew the only bill I had in my purse was the crispy $100 bill!!! And lucky I had a receipt from the bank dated and time stamped which came in handy at the gas station! I gave the guy a $100 bill, for $20 in gas, and he tries to tell me I gave him a $20! Needless to say there was some DRAMA up in here that day, I wasnt moving, I wasnt leaving, I wasnt allowing him to ring anyone else up.... I shut the store down for about 30 minutes till things got straight! The cops and the manager were called in! I got my $80.00's the punk owed me, said a few choice words and have NEVER been back in there and wouldnt go there even if it meant I ran out of gas trying to get to a different station. So i'm a regular customer, and i notice every time i come in there's this one cashier that's particularly rude. I havent caught a name , shes a older woman and looks like she's african american with glasses. She often stares with a unkind face and when telling about items she does very rudely. When i get to the register she's just so rude and sounds so irritated and when i tell her to keep the change, she unpleasantly goes mmh like as if she expects it , and it honestly makes me want to just go back for my change. I honestly think someone needs to talk to her about her issue because it NEEDS to be fixed. read more

Do not buy the $1 bread here. Most of it had mold. The fact it does makes me question if the store even checks the bread they put out or worse, put out bread that's gone stale from last week or something. The clerk there gave me some company policy bullshit and didn't even tell me sorry for the moldy bread. This is horrible, as having food like this for sale is a danger to public health. read more

DO NOT USE THEIR CARWASH!!! If you insert a $10 or $20 dollars bill their machine won't give you back any change you will go inside the store and they will be offended because you will ask the cashier for your change back or you might will have to come back when the manager is available to authorize the transaction that happened to us when we used to live around the area 6 years ago and we remembered having that problem before. But apparently has not been fixed yet because we forgotten and came back and guess what??? It happened to us again!!!! The machine from the carwash did not gave us change back!! Very convenient not to have it fix as lots of people might just let it go. By the way the carwash SUCKS!! read more

Eh. Its a gas station. Usual high prices for a Shell gas station. Never been in the store, so I can't comment on that. Its conveniently located right near the freeway entrance, and it does have a car wash, but with the high prices, its nothing to keep me away from Costco or Arco. read more

I gas up at the Shell whenever I'm heading home to California from Sparks. Before heading over the hill, I like to check oil, top off gas, and wash the windows and lights on my vehicle. I'll still do this at this station because it's convenient and right next to where I get on the freeway, but it would be nice if there were window washing liquid instead of just water in the buckets at the pump. read more
