I initially started to speak with Taylor who I believe is the admin for the therapists. At first I thought this place was in order because she followed up with me and asked what I was looking for through the process. Guess what, nothing was in order and it's so disappointing when you're trying to get help and have to go through a bad experience with experts that help people. This is not the case where all they were looking for is the next person to take money from. One of the worse things Allison did was, when we were done with our session she didn't even walk us out to the front door and said your time is up when would you like to schedule another day and time? All I have to say is WOW! At that, this session was for my daughter when we arrived she said, oh this session will start with myself and my wife, so my daughter had to wait at the front. What a joke! I have text messages from Taylor to bring my daughter. Even the online links she sent were out of wack. I should of researched more especially when you only have 3 reviews. Later to find out Allison is only an intern for the company, go figure. I promise, everyone please be careful and do your research. The owner Rebecca is not even here in Vegas and only does virtual sessions. I feel it's more personal when your trying to see a therapist or psychiatrist in person. Rebecca should definitely reevaluate who she hires for her office. Horrible how you don't even walk us out and say okay thanks for coming. Unbelievable, I'm in sales and I would never ever do that to my clients. I tried to reach out to Taylor and she literally went ghost and shows on text she read all texts I sent. However, she rarely actually did anything other than ask about my week and how I feel. She never stuck to any new "tool" or "method" we would try. I would do everything she asked of me, from filling out busywork to doing walks to talking to people I didn't want to. I even voluntarily surrendered to my greatest fear of being locked up in a hospital. She gave me her number and told me not to call hotlines because they would leave me on hold. But she would ignore almost every call or text made until I stopped even trying. After a week or two of any approach she'd give up, only to months later accuse me of "never really trying" to improve. She would also complain about my negativity and low self esteem, only to tell me all my problems are my fault and if I only tried harder I would be fine. For context, much of my issues regarded depression, incurable medical issues, and the death of my father. But she consistently framed things as my fault. Despite all this, I stuck with her for three years because I appreciated her being candid and friendly. What most therapists wouldn't do for fear of being unprofessional, she was fine with. She'd call us friends, joke around with me, she'd even said if I didn't want to work on improvement I could just vent and talk to her once a week. But then, in the first few minutes of my last session, she told me she wouldn't work with me anymore. No prior discussion had been had, and very little explanation was offered. She sent a list of names I don't know and offered one single session to process. And when my car broke down, she refused to reschedule that session, and only assured me she'd done her due diligence. When I asked if I'd done something wrong, she told me I hadn't. She'd just snubbed me for no reason I guess. I can't imagine this is the best way to handle that situation for any therapist. But for one I've seen for three years and always spoke to me candidly, I was especially surprised at such a curt and cold snubbing. I can't speak for the other therapists here, but the one I've seen hasn't made a great example. The receptionist has always been very kind, though

In order…read morefor me to get a prescription of a medication that I used in the past and I would like, I would need to meet with Somers. Within 15 minutes of getting to "know" me, he wanted to put me in medication that 1, I didn't ask, 2. I didn't need and 3. Didn't want. He made it cleared that if I didn't get this medication, then he wouldn't prescribe the medication that I wanted. I got the medication but it did nothing for me. The medication was for a medical condition that I did showed any signs of, yet alone had anything. I had to see him about 2-3 times and I would tell him that I didn't need that particular medication. But he insisted that it will help me, which it never did. When I spoke to my therapist that if I still needed to see him, he told me that no, I was not required to see him to continue getting treatment with my therapist. I stop seeing him the minute I was told I didn't have to continue seeing him.

Her best quality as a…read moretherapist, in my opinion, is she cares enough and is brave enough to help you really learn about yourself. She is incisive and applies the right amount of pressure, and at the right times, to make sure you are ready for what comes next. She understands that most (if not all) of the things we go to therapy for exist along a spectrum with both positive and negative impacts on our lives. She does her best to help you channel those into the positive. And when those unpleasant moments come (and they always do) it feels like she standing should-to-shoulder with you to face them.
