What I liked most about the dresses was not only their fit and fabric but I can just tell that they will be able to withstand the wear and tear that is inevitable for me when I spend all summer biking around Montreal. When we walked in, the vibe and the atmosphere seemed a bit negative - while the store itself was bright and clean, the sole employee on-site was a bit stand-offish. He was watching us like a hawk, and it kind of made us feel quite uncomfortable. The selection was also slightly limited, and the 'sales' corner in the back had one red sweater that seemed almost like a keeper, but the size was way too big. The hubs was not a fan of the store, as he thought the quality of the items were of cheaper material, and the customer service just left a bad taste in his mouth. The store is quaint and located in a more touristy area of town in Old Montreal located near some other quality (and non-so quality stores). They carry ties, bowties, belts, watches, wallets, rings, bracelets, cufflinks, lapel pins, necklaces, underwear, and other accessories. Much of the store includes finely curated, quality brands that are often hard to find. But their crowning gem are their custom ties and bowties. They have flare, can be bold in modern, and yet are crafted from fine silks and cottons from all over the world. They'll even make something with fabric of your choosing--tailors for men's accessories! Genius. The staff was one of the tailors and super helpful and engaging. She goes on trade shows and tends to sell out everything when she goes. There are very few repeats and eat time is unique. I'll be visiting each time I'm in Montreal and likely will be sending some email requests shortly.
