I would not recommend Jacob Levin, or his staff, to anyone. His staff schedules times to contact Jacob Levin and then makes excuses...over and over...for his lack of response. Jacob Levin, although numerous attempts were made, along with a court order from the sitting Judge, never once met with his client, (my husband). Jacob levin is an arrogant individual that refused to form a defense with his client. In fact, Jacob disregarded every attempt his client made to participate and offer information concerning his case. Mr. Levin also refused to communicate with his clients family and actually screamed at family members in an open court room. Jacob Levin is very childish, unprofessional, and ill-prepared in a courtroom as well. Mr. Levin refused to subpoena pertinent witnesses, request exculpatory portions of video evidence, object or confront the prosecutor who badgered witnesses in an attempt to discredit their religion. BEWARE!! Called to seek info about my mentally impaired mother from her attorney, I am out of state. I have spoken to him before about her standing with the courts. But the last two times I have called no response. TODAY THE RUDEST PERSON Ive ever encountered on the phone works for JACOB LEVIN LAW. She answered, vocally irritated, I don't believe she even stated the company name just "HELO!!" on speaker phone. I said "hello", name and my reasoning for calling. She screamed at me"YOU cut ME off!!" When all I did was state my name, my mother's name and the reason for my call. She was so RUDE to me I had to ask her IF she was having a bad day? She replied "NO! And that her attitude is based off my introduction to her." She then said "I can't help you!" I said " Wait! You have before and I just would like clarification of her well-being" Again she was speaking down at me, laughed, then picked up the phone from speaker and told me shed "take my name but he is not there and he wont be back (today)!" ----I was shocked so I wrote this review---- I am Receptionist also, I to say that when we are busy.. I understand but when people need help, I do not push them off the phone. I AM CONSIDERATE TO ALL!! ITS LITERALLY YOUR JOB AND DUTY ON EARTH TO BE DECENT TO OTHERS!! I would never be rude to anyone seeking help and I do try my best to provide the UPMOST SUPPORT I can. HOW it upsets me that JACOB LEVIN IS A COURT APPOINTED LAWYER, HIS FIRM represents very vulnerable people that are already in jail, most facing hardships.
