And I mean the biscuits were very good--fluffy, buttery, everything you want in a biscuit. But please tell me why the biscuits wasn't even my favorite. Them teacakes, baby? FYE. Like call the fye department . Whew! They were soft, just the right amount of sweet, and had that old-school homemade taste that makes you feel like you sitting in granny's kitchen. They reminded me of sweet cornbread or a fresher version of those shortbread cookies in the blue container (y'all know the one! ).
