Might've recalled only a few instances where the quality fell short, but they were odd and far in between over the two decades, I shrugged it off to probably temporary changes in management. The quality has been on large consistent. The service is also great. Never had a problem with the staff and they'd always been welcoming. Most days it seems quite quiet. The weekends at lunch and dinner hour is normally bustling.

I haven't had a delivery from them so can't comment on times but they always have drivers popping in and out whilst i am sitting waiting for my food and i have never had to wait more than ten minutes for my order if i just pop in but i tend to ring and then walk down and collect it. Individual starters are around £4-6 each, a mixed starter is £13 per head, crispy duck starts at around £10 and then mains are generally around £9. If you like someone else to pick which dishes go with which then gourmet dinners or banquets cost around £20 per head upwards for a minimum of 2 people. If you are seeking the best value then a buffet is available some of the time. The food is obviously not as good because it has been standing around, but it is very acceptable and great value at around £15 on Friday and Saturday evenings and less for the buffet Sunday lunch and dinner. The wine list isn't cheap, ranging from around £10-24, but the wines I have tried have all been good. All together great food, good service, great value and highly recommended.

There is parking behind the Chinese with no parking out the front. It is a small place and is easily missed if you are not looking out for it.
