That's a welcome reprieve from standing for six (6) hours at other clubs. They don't really have table service for those unreserved tables, but the staff at the bar was very nice. I was able to visit the bar and come back to my table in a reasonable amount of time. A few words of caution: They do not take American Express Credit Cards. Also, the parking in the area can feel a little bit scketchy, but you should be able to find a spot. Get on the guestlist and arrive in the vicinity early!

Adelisa Decor was one of the very last wedding vendors I reached out to because I only decided to…read moreget a special backdrop a month or two before the reception date. Otherwise, I was going to have to stick with the venue's gray curtains. I knew that I wanted a very soft fairy-lit backdrop and got the inspiration from a Hong Kong celebrity's wedding pictures. I reached out to a couple of backdrop vendors asking if they could replicate the celebrity's backdrop. Adelisa was one of the few who said yes. She was very responsive, and her pricing was within my budget. I decided to go with her. She was very specific about the time needed for set up and breakdown, which all worked out. I was ecstatic when I first stepped into the reception room and saw how nicely it came together. I was truly in awe of her team's work. It wasn't exactly like the celebrity's backdrop, but it was pretty close and even better. It looked so nice in person and pictures, and I liked how it gave that whimsical effect! If you're interested in the same backdrop, show her these pictures and tell her this was the description she put down: solid base layer, fairy-lit layer, sheer layer, and secondary sheer layer all done in ivory color with warm white lighting. The backdrop was 20 ft wide, but I think it would've looked even nicer if it was taller and wider, though it wasn't possible with the venue space. I know Adelisa Decor doesn't have many reviews, and I was skeptical at first too, but they're truly amazing. They even wanted to meet each other in person at the venue when it was time to sign the contract. Sadly, I had no time to do that, so I just did everything virtually and only met them on the day of the reception.

He was very communicative--even with the 13 hour time difference, I was able to coordinate with him easily. I had my husband be taken out of the house three hours before the party to set up... the balloon arch was delivered right on time. The photographer showed up half an hour earlier than the party. The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. The photographer David was also really so helpful, friendly, and on it! He came early and helped with some of the set up... he was attentive and also very nice to talk to. Very natural (sometimes it's awkward when a photographer's in your face taking pictures but it wasn't awkward at all). We got a USB full of pictures right after the party! They delivered the fabulous balloon arrangements right on time (a couple of hours before the party) and the delivery person was very helpful and friendly! Almost everyone at the party told me how much they loved the balloons. A great experience from start to finish!
