Updating my review. Am not coming back…read more My overall feeling here is that I'm overcharged on any medical appointment I have. And more treatments are recommended to me than necessary including lots of optional pill work, which to me is a last option. Also the nurses always seem tired and unpleasant. I wait 40 minutes! for doctor to step into my consulting room. 10-20 before and 40 for him just to come in to talk to me. At that point, I'm just ready to get my consultation over with. The last annoyance was when I sprained my foot and wanted to get it check out by family doctor. I was told that "we don't do that". Ok, no problem! There's a next level urgent care across the street and they charge similar prices and have great staff there.

Dr Zaidi and staff did thorough charting and ran several test and noticed several low levels hormones , inflammation markers etc on my father's labs. Dr.Zaidi aggressively started treating my father with holistic measures as well with a Vitamin IV. As a nurse myself I'm proud to say Dr Zaidi is my physician. I recieved an Vitamin IV along side my father today. I feel refreshed, rejuvenated and shocked at the glow of my skin with the special formula picked out for me. Can't wait until my next one. Her bedside manner is professional, compassionate and just plain good. Dr. Sami does not hesitate to give you the proper referrals to the necessary specialist when required. She does not just write prescriptions without making absolutely sure it is what you need and it does not conflict with something you may already be taking. The office schedules appointments and you are seen right away without a 1 hour wait time. I found her by accident and I am so thankful to God I did. Started with the receptionist calling someone else to help me every time I went to the counter, it really seemed like she was untrained and it was very unprofessional. Then the nurses were very curt and didn't even bother making eye contact. Dr Sami came in and took my vitals, asked questions about family medical history, then did a breast exam. She was very cold and distant the whole time. After that I expected the pap, but she told me I'd be getting blood work and providing a urine sample and was done. I was ushered out the door without any of my concerns being addressed and without a Pap smear done. I left very upset and feel like I wasted my time and money. I will definitely not be returning, and do not recommend Dr Sami to anyone.

What I don't appreciate is when medical practitioners get offended when you ask questions, or challenge theories when it comes to your own health. It is my body and my life, I think every patient should ask questions and challenge conventional theories. I have a thyroid issue. I am trying to find ways to heal it. I have been seeing Dr. Horsefield for maybe 5 years now, and have noticed passive aggressiveness before... but what I recently experienced is clearly unacceptable. I saw him for my regular annual appointment 3 months ago. My TSH levels were too high, so I got on some thyroid supplements and we retested about 6 weeks later. The results came in and the TSH levels were too low. I have since readjusted my medication and sent him an email politely asking if he could order the bloodwork to retest my levels so I can ensure i am now healthy and found the right balance. His response was callous. I have attached a photo with the passive aggressive response, where he makes it clear that he wont put the test in the system because he doesn't get paid for "answering emails, ordering tests, reviewing tests, communicating test results and maintenance of records" ..... REALLY? Aren't those tasks associated with being a doctor? I would be happy to pay him, for me it isn't about the money at all. In addition, clearly SOMEONE is getting paid when I order these lab tests because I'm charged thousands of dollars for them. All I need though is the bloodwork.... and he doesn't have availability for 2 months!?! I'm extremely disappointed that someone in the healthcare field is so much more concerned about their wallet than their patients health. Also if he wanted to charge me a processing fee that is fine, but his solution is clearly not in my best interest to wait 2 months and potentially do irreversible damage to my body.
