I know how my body works and my pain is very real and it is a real problem. Was told verbatim and I quote, "your pain is in your head". I couldnt believe a dr would say that to me; when I tried to see someone else in his practice I had to get my therapist to call them and advocate for me because they would not return my calls. They told my therapist I was filing a lawsuit against them and slammed the phone on her, (whom by the way is the kindest sweetest old lady), when I had no such intention. I am on medicaid and dont even have money to do such a thing; nor would I want to as I am not a vindictive person. I went to another practice in New Britain and finally had laporoscopic surgery and was diagnosed with stage four endometriosis. I dont want other women to go through what I went through. I want Drs to know women cannot be treated this way. We are people not pieces of meat and a paycheck and our pain is real and we deserve to have our medical problems taken seriously. I sincerely hope no one else is dismissed in such a way and his practice starts treating women more empathetically and not gas light them into believing they are crazy and their pain is fake or "in their head".

I was going to see him when I lived in Connecticut through the recommendation of another patient of his but I moved to California and thought it wouldn't be possible. He was able to provide sessions by Skype and I was thrilled. Their physical therapy has allowed me to get off pain medicine and get back to life, chasing my puppy and scurrying around like I used to. The PTs and athletic trainers have the sense to know when you're genuinely hurting, but push you once you're doing better, to actually get you strong again --no "going through the motions" b.s. You'll leave with that "tired in a good way" feeling. You take for granted how critical your back is until it's crushed and you're lying in bed with a brace so tight you can't breathe. This is some serious selfcare with a legit purpose.

The pharmacy says all they're waiting for is a call from my APRN Susan or Brandy. calling the office is a joke. The machine picks up and states that the office is closed, clearly it is not. The website says it's open till 6:30. It also states to leave a vm and someone will get back to me within 2 business days. What does it take for my APRN to call in my script? I've been struggling with this for weeks!!! It's not good to just stop your anxiety depression meds just like that. After a month of trying to get through to the office that states every single day they are closed is beyond unacceptable! Nobody calls back after two business days like it states. Nobody calls back at all. It's not only unprofessional to ignore one or your clients but it's downright mean and cruel!!! I shouldn't have to call 911, be taken to the hospital by ambulance,, just to get my prescription filled! With no transportation and no spare money for an uber I'm stuck sitting here going nuts! I have lost all respect for Synergy due to all its failures. I shouldn't have to take this further but it looks like I'm going to have to.....
