I called them right away & let them know and Brad (service tech.) came out same day & stated that he didn't know how that could of happened but he had a pump in his truck & proceeded to replace the pump. I was ecstatic! I thought I had found someone who stood behind their workmanship.......WRONG! A week later I received a bill in the mail for almost $700.00!!!!!!! I nearly had a heart attack since it costing me anything was never mentioned during the replacement. I immediately called Phil's and tried to reason with them........long story short they proceeded to take me to small claims court which was decided in my favor but Phil's appealed the decision. Lo and behold Judge Herrington decided in their favor. (crooked????) The Police Officer who originally served the Small Claims notice told me that he also had problems with Phil's Plumbing & Heating. After having them do some work for him, which he promply paid the bill in full, received a bill in the mail for $1200.00 addition charges for "incidentals!"

He finally called Roy one day, and he was over at our house in Lexington within a few minutes and fixed the problem all within the 1 hour lunch break that my husband was on. Roy is a true professional and so experienced. He started working as a plumber at a young age and is really amazing at his job! We really appreciate that he explained what he was doing and taught my husband a thing or two if this problem happened again. He also gave us a 6 month warranty. The owner couldn't find the paperwork and then we were told the bill was over $600. When the bill finally came it was talking about work being done in rooms that don't exist. We contacted the owner and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. We asked him to come and walk through the bill as it was not correct and he literally yelled at us. We thus far have not paid and are now in collections. We are disputing the bogus charges. STAY AWAY for this company.

They fixed the toilet stack as well. Anyways, I have a new house now in the next town over and they came in and they resealed an old upstairs shower and replaced the drains and fixtures for the downstairs tub. I have never had an issue after they have left and talking to them when they come in to work is actually a nice conversation compared to other companies that I have worked with. I'm now doing a complete remodel of both my current bathrooms in March 2021 and they are scheduled to start next week. I know the work will be high quality at a decent price and I will continue to use them in the future.
