They come with an array of sides (& plenty of them!) including a pineapple/cucumber salsa, a cabbage slaw, some diced onions, coriander, tomatillo with avocado and chipotle sauce. There was also a couple of Juanita's home made sauces on the table to use. We enjoyed it all! Although quite full we couldn't resist trying the salted caramel Cheezecake. You have to follow their Facebook page to get an idea of when they might do that, but it's definitely worth the anticipation. Trying out their newly built wood fire oven, the Al Carbon truck was serving up wood fired, slow roasted to perfection lamb tacos. Yes those same kind of tacos made famous by the previous incarnate La Lupita. Awesome freshly made corn tortillas and simple additions like purple cabbage and pickles. Respadas. It's a finely shaved Mexican snow cone. I've never tried anything like it. Chilli lime salt with agave syrup, Watermelon and Rose and Sweetened condensed milk. Very refreshing on a Summer's eve. Attila tells me this time around they are going Turkish. That's his real cooking passion. Slow roasted lamb, house made bread and tapas style sides, designed to be eaten by hand around a table with good friends. Something great is coming to the inner west. Watch this space.

Pandan croissant and pandan flan were our favorites. They were not too sweet. The croissant was nice and flaky. Flan was so smooth... I could've eaten another one and not regret it. Definitely go early if you can because the lines do get long and you can tell with all stanchions set up in front of the bakery. It's crowded, it's loud, but it's all part of the wonderful morning market experience. There is some seating (for 6-7 people) on the side, but I wouldn't count on the bench being available all the time. I would continue exploring the public market with a pastry in hand.
