Very well deserved. Interesting combination of flavours. 5 stars. I also had the "Dolce de leche" (condensed milk), also 5 stars and the coconut which I guess compared to the others sadly didn't have much taste, 3.5 stars in my opinion. Perhaps it'd be a 4 on its own. I heard other go ooh-aah over the raspberry flavour, but I didn't have that myself. This place needs to move to a more convenient location ASAP so I can have the gold medal winner for lunch every day of the week. It's. That. Good. This place is well worth the trip out to Kvarnholmen and you get a beautiful view of Djurgården as bonus. Edit: 55 sek for three huge scoops is a very reasonable price.

Cause I don't have to think too long what I'd like. The yogurt here is very very good. Last time I had the raspberry flavor and caramel and the raspberry was so good! The caramel was also very good. Didn't get any toppings, mainly because toppings are overrated but they have a good selection of different candies and fruit to put on your froyo. It's located inside bromma blocks so it's nice to take a moment while shopping to have some delish treat. Oh, and they serve Belgian waffles. I only saw one being served and yes, I wanted one. But given that I had just inhaled a HUGE avocado salad from the garden cafe, well ... next time.

Inside there's even more crazy artwork as the walls and ceilings were painted with crazy cows! There was only 3 flavors when I went (since it was later in the day) and the girl who was working at the counter was super friendly! She offered me to try the 3 flavors with a smile on her face! That never happens with a smile on your face! Anyways, I decided to try the lavender one and some hazelnut almond mixture. I liked both of them a lot but decided to go with the lavender one since it was a bit more unique. They also had Semlas in the store and oddly enough that day was "Fat Tuesday" which meant that it was a "national Semla" day. Since I had to celebrate such a historic holiday, I got the ice cream inside the semla and it was delicious. The way the bread soaked up the ice cream was super satisfying.

I had been using only my credit card in Stockholm, but when I got in to StikkiNikki, I was bummed to find out this place was cash only. The lady was extra nice, and accepted my Euros and gave me SEK back. I had the mocha flavored ice cream in waffle cone, and the single scoop serving was very generous. The waffle cone was crunchy and tasty, but the ice cream just tasted icy and watery as the flavor wasn't infused. Later as I was strolling through the city, I stumbled upon another StikkiNikki that had different flavors, such as Tin Roof (peanut and fudge swirl in vanilla - I was super excited for the crunchy texture!) and salted caramel. I tried those samples and again it was very watery and the flavor wasn't infused. If this were the United States these would be baller flavors... Side note, why do Scandinavians like their licorice so much?! There was a salted licorice flavor, and all over the grocery stores, there are licorice candies. I remember when I went to Iceland there was licorice everywhere as well.

I was very impressed by the selection of prepared food here and thankfully, they were able to pull a good shot too. One woman worked behind the counter and was prepping what looked like most of the food for the day. There were quiches galore, large cakes and pies and the whole place had a very cool feel to it. If I'm in Gamla Stan again, I'll definitely stop back in here for some coffee and a bite to eat.

I decided to try it out as it seemed very popular with a big line ever time I have walked by! They didn't have as many flavours that I expected to but the ones they had would please most people! They had a great mix of toppings but I was missing my favourite, cookiedough. Although the topping was pleasing the yougurt did taste as I'm used to but it was okey. I guess it's good with a fat and sugarfree choice!

They are made with real whole ingredients with decadent amounts of cream, egg yolks and sugar. So far, I have tried around half of all the flavors available and I haven't been disappointed. Servings are fairly small and price tags are fairly big, but you can really taste the craftsmanship behind the ice cream - it's very rich and flavorful. The downside is they don't have that many flavors - and almost none that would appeal to kids. So don't expect "outrageous" inspired flavors like salty licorice and cookie dough: This is more of a conessieur type ice cream joint, a real "gelateria" with traditional flavors made mainly from berries and nuts. ~150 grams of ice cream is 35 SEK which equals to a little over 23 SEK per hecto. ~250 grams is 55 SEK which equals to 22 SEK per hecto. Not very generous but definitely worth a try!
