Located in a parking lot on Rayford, you'll find this amazing Jamaican shack/food truck! Not hard to miss with the loud reggae music blasting and fantastic smells of carribean cuisine floating through the air. You're immediately greeted by a nice gentleman who takes his time to educate you on all of what's available on the menu; I think it's only him who works the truck as nobody else was there inside. We ordered the Jerk Chicken platter and Oxtail platter, both with a side of rice and peas! An absolute 10/10 for both meals. Cabbage was well seasoned, the rice and peas were thoroughly cooked and flavorful, and lastly the Jerk Chicken and Oxtails were falling off the bone engraved in juices! On weekends they even have free all you can drink vodka and rum punch while you wait for your meal! My only complaint is they are a bit pricey, however I definitely recommend checking this place out if you want some authentic islander food!

The Jerk chicken is really good the rice and peas / cabbage is bland no real flavor. Will definitely be back for more jerk chicken

I ordered takeout a handful of times, the food is always excellent. My favorite dishes are their oxtail and jerk chicken.

I ordered the jerk pork with rice and beans. The seasoning was great! It was very affordable. I will definitely be going back there.

If you love the steak!!!!!!…read more Its a good choice Really outstanding service The picanha arepass on deep fried crunchy and good tasty

This is a brand new food truck in the Plaza de los Food Trucks, aka Gosling Food Truck Park. The…read morefocus is on meat, particularly steak. We got a to go order from them the other night--a steak picanha platter with grilled corn and veggie kabobs, and a burger with fries. The steak is amazing. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium but I have no complaint as it was tender and flavorful. The meat is well seasoned and finished with rock salt, and absolutely delicious. The grilled corn was tasty with a nice char, though the kernels were very tiny. The vegetables were great, particularly with their chimichurri sauce which also has great depth of flavor. The burger comes with all the trimmings, including bacon and avocado. It was a good one, tender and with great flavor. The one disappointment of the meal was the fries. They were soggy, the grease had soaked in. I don't think this was due to the meal being to go--the fries were either cooked in old oil or not cooked twice (gotta cook 'em twice to be crisp). The meat is cooked on a wood-fired pit. They have sausage and pork as well. The in-person presentation is fancy, a very nice hot platter for the food. The to go presentation is not bad either, they use quality containers that keep the food from being crushed. The price will set you back--a picanha for one is $16. It's in line with the quality. The truck is run by a family and they are very enthusiastic. If you're looking for a high-end open-air experience you'll get it here.
