There were long periods--sometimes months--without any updates on my case, and I often had to initiate contact by emailing or calling just to find out what was happening. On top of that, nearly every communication seemed to generate another charge. Emails, phone calls, faxes--everything was billed, making an already expensive process even more frustrating.
