I recently went here for an eye exam and a lasik eye consultation. Making an appointment was easy…read more I didn't have to wait a long time . A lot of my friends and family members had lasik eye correction with Dr. Samir. They recommended me that I only go to him. Usually during business hours they are busy but thankfully my appointment was at 6pm which was perfect after work hours. I did not wait that long. The technician took me in and performed the necessary eye exams it took about 20 min. After that, I saw the Dr.samir who asked me if I have any complications or concerns. He also informed me the process of the lasik eye procedure. He showed me the machine and gave me a quote. He gave me a brochure to read more into it. He told me when I'm comfortable to do the lasik eye correction then to call and schedule an appointment. Hopefully, in Jan 2017 I will do the procedure. Overall, the clinic was clean. I had a slight eye emergency, and called their answering service to attempt to make an early morning appointment for the next day. The answering service let me know they couldn't make an appointment, but that they would relay the message to the receptionist, who would call me upon the office opening at 8AM. Well, I am glad to say that I found another doctor, because it is currently 11:30AM and not only have I not heard anything back from this office, I was welcomed into a new practice who had a sense of urgency in helping me. I will no longer patronize a doctor's office who has no sense or urgency or regard for their patients. I could understand if they were not able to fit me in, but to not even call back an existing patient is unacceptable. Edit: it is a full day later, and they still never called. I'm happy I didn't wait on them and found another doctor!

When I stated that I would need to leave at a time that would be exactly 1.5 hours from my arrival, due to another medical appointment, she expressed disbelief that I should think that spending 1.5 hours in a doctor office is reasonable. She meaning, the receptionist. The doctor is fabulous, and so are her assistants, especially Laura. I think the only reason I was seen at the 1 hour wait mark (instead of being made to wait longer) was because I made a fuss. Moral of the story, I would still recommend this doctor, but not so much the receptionist, who was also rude and difficult during the making the appointment process. If you choose this doctor, bring your knitting, music, and a good audio book. Planning on settling in for the long hall. And for heavens sake, don't make any other appointments for later in the day. Who knows when you'll get out?!
