Makes a district case transfer to Supior so he can ask for money every time he is supposed to show up. He was there a couple times to make sure that the case was going to be delayed as many times as he could possibly get it delayed. If one day is good for one its not for him. Then he was actually FIRED by me. He saw me go up the stairs to talk to another person I knew in dedham, so I could ask him what I do now that I just fired my Attorney. And Donovan was on the phone with my father trying to get him to mail another check! Is that legal? Nope! And it is/was recorded. So, when my father asked for some of his money back since Patrick really did more damage than anything good, Patrick sent him a piece of paper with fake fees and dates on it and he charged for the "free consult". This was 2011/2012. The way my father found him was online where it stated "FREE CONSULTATION". He charged more for the things he did and made happen. He is 5 star at getting all the money he can, and i can't see how he would ever get to trial. He was at court 3 times. And kept it in pre-trial. I fired him for shouting in the middle of the 2 courts, outside; you blah blah blah. And the blah was him saying I did what I was being accused of by a mentally ill person that I had a restraining order on. It was a lawyers dream case. The plaintiff plead the 5th. Lol. Yet he did that, and called to try to get more money before I got home but I called my father right when I got to my car. And he was trying to inbezzle another 5 digit check from the perosn that wanted me to have an attorney. But in the end my court appointed Dedham Attorney did all it took to get it dropped. It never even went to court. So I should have gone to the board and sued. But the statute of limitations was up by the time the mess PATRICK caused me, calmed. And he never sent a penny back. Money is all he is actually going to put any effort in. How to get certain personalities to do everything to save themselves. When they are being made to fear, so they will give this embezzlor more money and more money. Even after he is fired and no longer my Attorney. He wants to be paid for being fired? If this wasn't so traumatic for me, I would not be still reviewing so nobody else has to go through what I have with this clown. And no money sent back. Just asked for more! I will always review until Karma has done its job. And it will. Bye now Pat. You should pay me back since you did charge for a free consult and you did get fired and try to get another check in your pocket before I could talk to my father. FYI: you can't ask for more money after you are FIRED!! I have no reason to lie, i have every reason to spend my time doing anything but this. Therefore it must have been worse than words can explain. Also there is karma in saying things about someone after 12 years. I try to leave a review on Pat D. Every year. Till 2026.

All three outcomes were favorable to me. He's on time, on point, highly knowledgeable in criminal law and a fine man to boot. So if you don't want a criminal conviction give Councilor Donovan a call. I was so impressed by him that this is the first time I've ever left a review for anyone or any thing.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. Throughout my interactions with this attorney, I found the level of professionalism to be disappointing. There appeared to be an overwhelming caseload, which often resulted in confusion regarding court dates, meeting times, and case-related communications. Important details were frequently mixed up, creating unnecessary stress and requiring constant follow-up. Communication was another significant concern. Emails were often written in an unprofessional tone, and when mistakes occurred, there was little to no accountability. Instead of acknowledging errors and working collaboratively to resolve them, responsibility was often shifted elsewhere. At the same time, delays from clients or others involved in the case were met with criticism and impatience, creating a frustrating double standard. Perhaps most concerning was the overall lack of confidence this experience inspired. Professionalism, organization, accountability, and respect are qualities clients should expect from legal representation, and unfortunately, those qualities were consistently lacking in my experience. If this review is challenged or dismissed simply because the attorney claims not to recognize the situation or disputes the feedback, that would only reinforce the concern. Clients have a right to share honest experiences, whether positive or negative. This review reflects my genuine experience and opinion based on direct interactions. I would encourage anyone considering representation to carefully evaluate whether this attorney's communication style, organization, and professional conduct align with their expectations before retaining services.

Lisa always responded to my emails instantly and she knew what she was doing, in terms of how my daughter should prepare (gather evidence about the ticket as well as her good record and character), how many ways the cop fumbled writing up the ticket, and even which judges are better/worse. She also arranged to move the hearing date so that my daughter didn't have to make a trip to the area during summer break. Although it was probably a slam dunk case, we didn't know that until Lissa looked into things, and she gave us confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. Of course she got the charge dismissed. Yay, Lissa!
