Have had to visit this ER three times in the past 4 months, and I always receive quality, quick,…read moreand efficient care. The nurses are amazing, attentive, professional, and kind. This hospital is very clean and the staff are very nice and hardworking! I have experienced the Lab, ER, Outpatient Surgery, Infusion Clinic, and Specialty Clinics and have not had even close to a bad experience. Every employee is kind, patient, and genuinely wants to help you! It is wonderful, and it is really nice that those in Teller County do not have to go down to the Springs for quality medical care! Update June 2022- Can I just say the reception desk employees, especially Stephanie, are just so wonderful! I am here a couple of times a week, and the security that greet you at the door, and reception desk employees are always so polite, friendly, and professional. Have to honestly say- if I had to go to a hospital- I am so happy it is this one!!! Update April 2023- 3 medical appts today here and they all went smooth. I just love this hospital. The check-in process with the app is so incredibly easy. In addition, since I am a "frequent flyer" with this network, they all know me and they are just so friendly. Each appt was on time, I got everything updated and what I need, and everything was just seamless from check-in to check-out with each provider. Cannot say enough great things about this hospital! Update February 2024- Dr. Yacoub, PCP, is just beyond amazing! I wish we could clone Dr. Yacoub so that everyone can experience this wonderful doctor! He is compassionate, invested, caring, empathetic, really listens, and so smart but also relatable with the way he speaks to his patients....meaning he uses "plain language" that we, non-doctors, can understand. He follows up in between appointments with his patients, he is highly highly respected by his colleagues....in fact, that is how I learned about Dr. Yacoub- through my physical therapist at UChealth. Dr. Yacoub is invaluable, and I hope he realizes how appreciated he is so that he stays put....because it's so hard to find a good physician and to have one in Teller County....so amazing! Thank you, Dr. Yacoub, for all you do!

When I asked about a service this practice offers, something another physician had mentioned that I knew nothing about, Dr. Lee told me I was "way out there," gestured while saying it, and said I was "putting the cart before the horse." I explained that I didn't know anything about it and was asking for that reason, which seemed to further irritate him. I was not arguing or challenging him. I was trying to understand. Instead, he became increasingly defensive and condescending. I repeatedly had to remind him that he is the provider and I am the patient, and that I rely on him to help explain my options and wouldn't know if I didn't ask. It was very strange. The interaction escalated to the point that I told him I was shocked by how I was being treated. He agreed the conversation had become confrontational. Since my questions were still not being answered, I ended the visit on the spot and let him know I would not be continuing care with him. My eyes were dilated, and no protective shielding was offered during the exam, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. Luckily, I had my sunglasses. I will not be returning and felt it was important to share my experience for anyone who may be hesitant to post. I would also encourage those considering him to read a few other reviews (if you look his name up directly), and read yelp reviews. There were many reviews that were concerning to me as well. You can be your own judge. What stands out is not disagreement, but temperament. In a professional setting, the ability to communicate calmly and tolerate reasonable patient questions matters. The intake staff was very kind, friendly, and professional. The office was clean and inviting. This review reflects my experience with Dr. Lee only.
