As a veteran, it is nice to work with people who empathize with my past work experience. The canteen ( the lunch room) always has good food to eat and there is a store next to it that has no tax sales. The staff are concerned and there is an attendant in every clinic to make sure that we are taken care of. Battle Creek is one of the biggest VAs in the area and we have quality care. I love that there are areas to walk and a golf course for fun. The gym is basic but they have classes! And the pool is great exercise. Podiatry is a very quick visit but they give a lot of resources. Physical therapists are educated individuals who take the time to help ease the pain! I receive my medications quickly and if not then they are sent to my home so there is no stress! The patient advocates are an open-door policy type and it's great to take advantage of! There is plenty of parking, and they salt the sidewalks during the winter. They even have a tunnel system that allows us to not be out in the elements! Very swanky. I have yet to have a bad customer experience, they do a wonderful job hiring the staff. Mental health sets us up for success. The x-ray is clean and quick! Ultrasound is also very professional! Telehealth allows me to feel heard and also gives me quick a response! Nutrition has helped me get on track with my health. Overall the VA is a place that I will always be loyal to.

My 20 daughter went in for her annual physical and vacinations that she set up the previous year in advance. They took her card ran it and gave her great service until the bills started coming in the mail. No! i went right there. They said that is odd. Well, after the run arround they finely just decided to say well Dr. doesn't accept Priorty Health Spectrum and said the patient should of researched before her appointment. Well returning client? So before you go to the Doctor you better make sure they still take your insurance because they apparently do not know in house what they accept day to day. So, back at college no Doctor to call while sick They want to know how she wants to pay. Well what part of 0 income college student. Well she can make payments. Super, she will graduate in 2021 and then hopefully be employed right away then she can start paying you for your clerical error nobody will own up to. So sad all about your account number and money$$$ forgot she was a patient and is a human and does have insurance that is paid a high montly premium on. Most recently, I was experiencing what the doctors thought was classic vertigo and nothing was helping...a week and a half into the miserable "vertigo" I went to see Dr Ryan and we decided on doing some x-rays to get a better look at my neck and it's a good thing we did - ended up finding that the natural curve that should be there is lacking. He adjusted me and I felt better the very next morning - back to normal! Now I just need to keep up with the exercises provided, my new denneroll and my appointments. It may seem like a lot- but your health is worth it and it's MUCH less than going into the Urgent Care and/or ER like I did. I would highly recommend any of the 3 chiropractors on staff; I've seen them all over the years.
