They said this was just a standard job to them, but I was in awe of the skill it took to somehow carefully and safely remove these huge bushy giants situated in such a precarious tight space. They arrive before dawn and stay until dark. We and our neighbors are now safe in a storm, and they even included the grinding of all of the stumps to the point that you can hardly tell these trees were ever here. Dorian gave us a quick estimate that was a little lower than we expected/feared and he squeezed us into the schedule to get it done the next day. They are friendly, easy to work with, very careful in their work, and do a great job of cleaning up after the job is done. For the price, we figured they were not grinding the stump based on our experience with other services, but they spent quite a bit of time grinding down the stump and a lot of the big roots that ran out from it. Except across the street on a vacant lot there are tall trees obstructing the view. So I inquired with the City to obtain a permit. That was four years ago. After a "Geotechnical Survey", "Soil Compaction Analysis, a certified arborist's (Arbor Care) plan, and many thousands of dollars, Arbor Care cut down two 100ft tall trees leaving the stumps and logs to become "Nursery Logs" that protect and nurture new growth.
