He ushered me right in, produced a large box of "hardware" to choose from and within 5 minutes I was properly cuffed and buttoned and on my way to the wedding ceremony. While I know these are not high value items, he would not take any money and was just happy to know he saved the day for me. This northerner was the recipient of some serious southern hospitality. All the clothes and accessories are organized and clean. Even the clearance clothes have all of the same items hung together, and then sorted by size. Clothes and constrtare not greatll, but also ok. Lots of polyester. Fabrics are thick enough to be not-see-through. Maybe not tailored, but they have changing rooms so you can try it on. Something I feel is great, is that everything had prices marked accurately. That sounds like something that would be a given, but it is not. Walmart does not post prices, and wants you to scan each thing with the app (while on store wifi and while logged in so they can spy on you), and store like Five Below just do not post a price and you are supposed to deal with it. Cato had the prices all posted, and when I check out everything was accurate. Including clearance, where they had put the new price on each tag by crossing out the old one and putting the new one on. This store is all about straight talk. Lots of deals to be had. They had cute sweater dresses and coats for winter. And a clearance rack with costume jewelry and sunglasses, and I stocked up to give to kids at birthday parties when my girls (ages 5 and 7) get invites, because putting a statement necklace or sunglasses in a gift bag with the main gift is fun for kids. They also will wrap each thing separately, like in a tissue, so nothing gets damaged. Basically, a clean organized clothes store with all the prices posted accurately and all the clothes sorted by style and size, so it is easy to shop fast and be in and out fast.

When I called the main number I was told that they were very busy and to call back months later. When I do, no answer and no return phone call. They are basically ghosting their long time clients. I recently discovered Bullstreet Estate Sales & Consignments when I was driving by and saw the…read more"open" sign outside. I just moved into a new apartment in the area and was in the market for some used items or antiques when I popped in -- I was able to find exactly what I wanted. For a consignment shop, they have a ton of great stuff and the layout and space is not over crowded, so it makes it easy to navigate and picture how they might look in your space at home. I was only really looking for a desk, but walked out of there with a bookshelf and an ottoman that I love. I had looked everywhere for the perfect desk and found a retro MacTable that is big, has a great silhouette and fits perfectly in my office. The ottoman I found had been repurposed with a southwester red print which I really like and the book shelf was incredible with sliding glass doors. The reason I was able to come out of the shop with 3 items instead of just 1 was because everything was actually reasonably priced. A lot of times antique stores are SO expensive that that items you really like feel out of reach, but Bullstreet had prices that I thought were reasonable and fair. Finally, the service was great. I don't own a truck or van, so the person making the sale offered delivery for a low cost since I was only about a mile away. They delivered all three items the same day and helped me move them up my insane staircase. My shopping experience at Bullstreet Estates was about 2 months ago, but I find myself poking my head in there every week or two just to see what else they have... hoping to find some more treasures next time I visit.
