Indoor place with lots of food vendors and different knick knacks selling here and there. I ended up at Analog Coffee. It's a favorite of my friend whom I was visiting. I had a Hojicha Latte and we shared an Almond Croissant. Amazing how full a person can get on one drink and half a croissant. There are so many different options in this place. Wish I'd had more time, room in my stomach and room in my wallet to try more but this was the morning of my last day in Calgary. The one stall that really peaked my interest was a Vegan stall that had all sorts of Vegan options including frozen ones that you could bring home and put in your freezer. Frozen vegan Congee really caught my attention. I don't know anywhere in Vancouver that sells that! The stall was called Hearts Choices. They were offering samples of their product. They all seemed to be Thai flavors of soup and sauces. Everything I sampled was sooooo good. Wish they would open up in Vancouver. I was really curious about their frozen congee. If I lived in Calgary I would have definitely bought one and brought it home with me. Oh, I really wanted to try their Vegan Mac n Cheese but it comes with a slice of toast and there was no room in my tummy for all that as I'd already filled up on Hojicha Latte and Almond Croissant. I also saw a crepe place in the market that I'd have also loved to try and well...lots of other stalls as well. So many interesting food options here. We got tons of attention from the staff and owner who are all so sweet, kind and attentive! They let us sample their yummy cereal bars while waiting for our food. Think Rice Krispie squares but a million times tastier and chewier!! We tried, cinnamon toast crunch, fruit loops and chocolate Cheerios! I'd go back for those alone. The place is super cute. Modern look with reclaimed wood and vintage accents. For decor they had pie safes, an old retro kitchen stove and even the chandler is made from old pie tins and baking accessories! It was very cool. It has a hint of mint colour based on a retro themed purse. The ketchup and condiments come in little mint tin buckets. Super cute! The food.... Oh the food!! To die for! So tasty! My littlest got the mac n cheese pie. Creamy dreamy with a hint of hot sauce. The pie crust with it is perfect!! My older daughter got chocolate French toast and she could not stop eating. It was sweet, but not too sweet. She left way too full, but very satisfied. I got the basic breakfast and it was delish!! The sausages are butchered and smoked/cured(?) in house. They were so plump and filling. The eggs were perfect, but I fell in love with the hash browns! A perfect mix of fluffy mashed potato and crunchy outside seasoned to perfection. I usually skip the hash browns as I don't li, but these ones were the best I've ever tasted. I got a whole lemon meringue pie to take home to the family for dessert tonight and I also go a slice of the pecan and a slice of the luscious lime pies! Taste tested them all and let me tell you... I was in heaven! Best pies ever!!! The girls and I also split an apple pie milkshake and it was exactly that.., apple pie in a milkshake. It was delicious and so filling!!! We left there three very happy full girls.

I got to try their entry for Alberta Burger Fest 2016 and it was amazing! Typically I'm not a fan of anything sweet on my burger (aside from ketchup or maybe sautéed onions) but this one might've just changed that opinion forever! Their bacon jam & house made ketchup really made my day. ;) It's a messy burger (as all good ones ought to be!) I recommend giving it a try! On another note I got the sweet potato fries and they were also spectacular! They're the wavy/crimped kind and I guess it's all that extra surface area that gets them extra crispy when fried. If you usually don't order sweet potato fries or are on the fence about them I'd recommend trying silver sage's, that little extra bit of seasoned crunch just might make a believer out of you!

Silver Sage cattle are raised primarily on grass, but if you are specifically interested, they can detail exactly what the cattle are fed as they are raised. They aren't fed animal by-products, and they aren't injected with synthetic hormones or theraputic antibiotics. These guys care, and after the recent XL Foods issues, consumers are more and more starting to care more too. They do tend to sell out of popular cuts early in the day / weekend, but you can pre-reserve anything you want ahead of time. Just pop by the booth and place an order for a future weekend, or give them an email / call. We've found this very helpful, because showing up at an early hour on the weekend isn't something we are particularly good at. They are also really helpful with cooking tips and recipes! We really enjoy both their crepes/galettes, but sometimes find that the smoked salmon is extremely dry, which is sometimes the case for most of the galettes I have ordered from them. But taste wise the galettes are pretty good. For the most part I would recommend all of their sweet crepes as I find that they are consistently delicious and moist. They also sell baguettes if you are looking for something else other than crepes. If the Farmer's Market is busy you will find that there will sometimes be a line up, which usually doesn't take too long as their service is always pretty good. Overall a very great place to order some tasty french staples!

Call me frugal but if anything, it's is a nice treat if you want to make a delicious and plentiful meal for two. We ate the Sweet Chili Lime sausage and it was flavorful enough that I didn't feel the need to use any sauce. I was told this is one of their most popular sausages and I can see why. It's not hot or salty, just tasty. Next to no grease is definitely a bonus. I look forward to slowly making my way through their extensive menu.

I educated myself too late about sulphites!? Which causes cancer and inflammation. I read it can put you in a comma in most severe cases. It is a Banned in the USA.
